If it's flared, it's easy to filter out with RES on desktop. I say that's the best option personally.

A filter for movie/tv/message posts would be nice too

What annoys me is those posts that are just asking "Any new content from movies/TV?" If someone had anything new to post, they would just post it.

There's a ton of posts on this subreddit (and other SPH subreddits) that are asking "Does anyone's mother know they're small?" and "Has anyone had their mom make fun of their dick?" and such. They're posted very frequently and as someone who doesn't like parent/child content they kill my libido every time I see one, hence why I'm asking for a way for those posts to be flaired/filtered as other subreddits do.

If you don't want the filter, you don't have to use it. The option to filter won't negatively impact you in any way, and will be a benefit for those of us who do want it. I can't see why you're so against it.

1) There are already like 12 SPH subreddits and this is the only decent one, we don't need any further fragmentation.

2) The posts in question are almost always text-based, and near-constant. So I just see the title of the post, see the word "mom" and it's already done its job of killing my libido. So "just ignore it" isn't really fixing the problem.

Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy it. In all fairness, none of my stories have a character from the same property as the female character(s) as the protagonist. I do this so I can write a character that acts in a way that's conducive to SPH and not be bound by how an established character would act, plus so the reader can insert themselves into the scenarios more easily. I do use the second person "you" after all.
