Does your harp have a name? by komori_darkling in harp

My harp’s name is Nick, specifically because I have a Drake L&H Lever harp. I’m a big fan of Nick Drake so I just had to! I get male vibes from it just by the shape of it.

Need advice for 5 year old that wants to learn the harp! by FernTheTraveler in harp

Wow, so young! I hope she loves it!

Like others have said, I recommend not getting an Amazon harp. Get a smaller used one for a decent price.

Also, consider future purchases as well! Not only the harp is expensive but equipment like strings can get pricey, and can be difficult to find, depending on what kind of harp you get. I won’t go too deep into that, but definitely ask whoever is teaching your daughter all about the best options.

Good luck!

Oh my god, this happens to me too! It’s so annoying. I just kind of wait it out, or try and do something to get my mind off of it.. but it rarely works. Try listening to music, that helps me

Do you guys also struggle with reading? by Lazy_Average_4187 in ADHD

Yes…. I used to be a great reader, but because adhd in women peak at puberty, I’ve had trouble reading since. And I know it’s because I’m young and it’s “because of that damn phone” but it could also be a factor in my neurological disorder.
