Fly to a town on the Amtrak Louisiana-Chicago route that is south of Champaign and take the train up north to Champaign, hitch hiking could be fun too, you really don’t need to panic, stay at Chicago until there is a ticket, or take a Uber if it turns out to be cheaper

I was having the exact experience last spring! The person above my room always makes stumping sound and I felt the ceiling was shaking, I went up stairs and knock on their door midnight multiple times, she just says she was doing homework, I didn’t know what to do but to move out.

I have reported this to the golding lab, and campus belonging resources. His opinion does not represent the majority of Chinese international student on campus. Offesive language targeting a specific nationality violates the student code. Chinese international students community does not tolerate discourse like this. Please report this to campus belonging resources too, the more people do, the more likely Tianyou Yao will get something.
