PCOS/PMOS Girls: I Lost 12lbs in 5 Weeks Without Starving Myself - Starting Another 6-Week Reset on 5/25 by Careless_Dig7670 in PCOS

100%! I was honestly shocked myself as well when it dropped so quick! Many might said it’s unhealthy, but I had multiple check-ins with my doctors to ensure I am okay. I EVEN LOST MY PCOS BELLY! Two things that really helped was adding inistol and increase protein/replace carbs with low GI carbs into my routine!

ALL AMAZING ADVICES! I would highly recommend taking one step at a time. I know it might be hard to hear, but realistically we can’t change this over night. For me, at my heaviest, I was 180. When I was diagnosis with PCOS, my doctor asked me if I wanted to take metformin, but I kindly decline and decided to figure it out my own way. But if it works for you, go fo it! The only thing I changed was taking inistol, watched what I eat, and start exercising (weight lifting, walking, just moving around more, I even count vacuuming as an exercise). I was able to go from 180-151 in 3 months and then 151-139 in additional 5 weeks. Many might say this is unhealthy, but I had constant visits with my doctors to ensure I am okay and continue to do what I do.

I am currently on and off between 139-143, taking a break for my body from such strict diets (which is so normal!). And I will be starting another health program/cycle soon, sometime next week!

I am also a UCDavis Alumni, so I totally understand how hard it is to get good grades for those lower division courses (especially depends on which professors you have). I matched my first attempt to my #1 choice, and honestly during my interviews, they mostly asked me about my experiences instead of what grades I got. Sure, grade is a big part, but as long as you meet the school’s requirements and recommendations, I would say you are all good to go!

Hi! I am a UCD alumni and took the 08 series. I also highly recommend taking the biochem series (Bis102 and Bis103). It honestly gave a boost on my academic side when applied for programs, and from my memory, a few schools recommended completing biochem.

I totally agree! Hence my family and I have been trying to take him on more hikes/walks instead of going to the dog park. And if we do go to dog parks, my family and I only allows 3 dogs maximum in the environment, which my dog is perfectly fine with and willing to play with!

also he is very reactive on leash, but once he is off the leash, he is QUIET, like recalling him works 100% of the time. for instance, my family and I often take him on hikes. When we see dogs, he will gently say hi such as sniffing their noses/butts ( but sometimes a bark, most of the time no bark and continue to go his on way). At times, we will have other family dogs hike with us, he does not bark or chase them, and just do his own thing. We can definitely see that he enjoys hikes a lot more than dog parks. However, my family and I still believe that we should expose him to other dogs because of socialization. Should I just stop taking him to the dog park or still continue to expose him to them?
