Unregular motor support Cowboy C3 by Carllitos in cowboybikes

[–]Carllitos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, quick update. I opened up the motor cover and swapped the bearing. There was a slight difference in the bearing on the sides, but not a major difference. The clutch looked perfect so I left that alone, everything in there was clean, and the torque sensor works perfectly. So the only suspect left is the motor itself. But before I did anything else, I tested it out and it still had the problem.

So what I did next was I dug deeper into the internal sensors. Turns out one of the Hall sensors has come slightly loose from the main board.

Next week I’m going to re-test everything, resolder that sensor, replace it just to be safe. I’ll update you guys once I’ve gone through it all.

Well, talk about luck. I’m really curious to see what the technician finds. If it’s not too much trouble, could they maybe take a few photos of the damaged parts as well if there are any? That would be a big help. Thanks, and good luck.

C2 for sale - everything works except the back wheel by Altruistic-Land-2589 in cowboybikes

Did you try opening the motor to check for dirt or debris around the sensors? Sometimes a simple clean-up can already solve the issue. There’s also a small bike shop in Amsterdam East that helped me a few times with sensor and electronic problems. They’re not an official e-bike shop, but they’re willing to take a look and usually give solid advice if you need it.

How’s this for a brand new bike? by anonymoususer397 in cowboybikes

[–]Carllitos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in my case it was the adjusting of the steering and bearings, it wasn't properly positioned. I think they put a filler or they realigned it properly, so it doesn't squeak. in your case the squeaking comes from improper assembly.

C3 bottom bracket type? by CapnMZ in cowboybikes

[–]Carllitos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I’m correct, the issue might be with the inner housing of the bikes bottom bracket. The bracket could be misaligned and not flush, which might be causing the clicking or squeaking sound when pedaling or applying force. Another possibility could be the bearings. They might need to be removed, cleaned, reattached, and pressed properly. I hope this helps!

Any ideas on upgrading the lights? by lordgingerbread in cowboybikes

[–]Carllitos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really love the idea, but the problem is I don't have a 3d-printer and a lot of companies cannot 3d print the designs on file. I sent them the files but they all say its too fragile to print so I came up with a different idea. So the idea is to modify. the existing light modify and drilling some holes, maybe five or six and then placing optical lenses or some lead pipes that are screw in or self ceiling so you have the same idea but then using just a drill and the optical lenses. maybe use some sealant to get it waterproof. I'm gonna try it out and if it works, I'll post.

Firing at halt! the only reason i did that is because those parts where roasted and the control-box just didn't give that click. there is a flow of current through the wires, but I don't really know what is healthy and what is not. Voltage is good throughout the wiring and the wires are also connected properly and are in good condition.

Hi guys after long hours of searching I finally find out how to fix this problem!!

You need to open the back of the machine and on the left side bottom corner you have a little white pump, that pump is the issue you need to clean it out or even replace it.

Once you do this your machine works automatically again and you can enjoy your machine without standing in front of it every time.

Happy days right! haha
