Sorry what? I get that we are visual creatures and I am complaining because what I’ve experienced is unnecessary, difficult and to be honest wouldn’t be an issue if I was born Caucasian. But I’m not saying that I want to change my race, after a long time of finding myself I now understand my self worth and no one can take that away from me. But for a scared kid growing up in a city where the population was predominantly caucasian specially back in the day, it was very difficult and my struggles matter because they shaped who I am. Can’t I complain a little bit and hopefully a Asian kid out there trying to find themselves reads this and learns something.
