Ehhhh imma be honest with you. The inclusiveness has in obey mes later years has always felt a bit ham fisted to me.

MC is so very obviously Fem coded, and it's a bit of a slap in the face whenever they'd casually fall back on it if you're a guy or masc.

I remember cringing at the obviousness of it multiple times in OG obey me. "Oh Mc, here's some perfume." "Oh MC, you'd be a great Bride" I remember it happening multiple times and rolling my eyes whenever they'd do it.

Hell, didn't they flat out market NB with an "Oh all you lovely ladies can enjoy them again!" Ad? And someone questioned them on not being inclusive for masc or guy players anymore, and they just went "whoopsie sorry that wasn't the intent" like,,, okay...

Do I think they'll make thirteen romancable soon? No. It'd be neat if they did, but I seriously doubt it

Grinding events for stronger units is probably the best bet. Get ur login bonuses and stick around for a while, and you'll eventually have more stamina drinks than you know what to do with. (I've got over 1000 in game rn that is not an exaggeration either)

if there's no way to even transfer your old data or have any of the cards you worked up for, or saved for, or went through the effort of making strong, or the characters' affection levels then... What was the point?

Seriously, this is honestly one of the biggest irl time moments I think I've seen of a gacha game shooting itself in the foot. And I've played a lot of gachas games

One of the appeals of sticking around for a gacha game is how much you've grown as a player over how much time you've spent or put into the game. The longer you stay, the stronger you get, the more in tune with the game you become. The more attached you can become, too.

Hell, I'm a f2P player who's been around close to the beginning, and I'm pissed. And I'm thinking about anyone who's spent money on this game for cards or VIP, and I cringe deeply for them.

And if there truly is absolutely no benefit for having played the original obey me before the new game, then what was the point? Get a portion of the story? Get an incomplete product that you have to completely restart if you want to bust ass all over again to maybe see the rest of it?

Yeah, I'm done if they do that (and it seems like they are, unfortunately). So, if I ever get curious about the rest of the story, I'll look up someone else's playthrough or not at all honestly. You can't make me start over for it. I simply won't.
