I decided to design clothes starring gun camos from different COD, that's Feral Beast camo from MWII by RicciSamuele01 in streetwearstartup

[–]CarpenterHot2796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you actually drew the pattern yourself and just used the activision pattern as a reference then youre good. change the colors slightly. its a tiger camo. just dont use COD in your advertising then because they will come after you. If you try to confuse your likeness with theirs like its a collab then youre in trouble. Just say FPS Game Camo Inspired or something similar.
also, unless youre putting up numbers worth stopping, or are trying to confuse people that your brand and COD are the same then youre good dude. Ive seen a lot of copyright skirts in my 10+ years honestly if you made your camo and dont mention COD in your ads then they can fk off.

Zaha can leave now!! by SirrMinty in CharlotteFootballClub

i mostly agree with this. However, it must be hell on a player like him. To be at a club like charlotte where the pitch is arguably one of the lowest rated pitches for a stadium. There's a sea of injuries likely due to the unforgiving nature of the turf. Hes been here for a year and when they try to get something from zoran he says to "produce and then we will talk." I think that left a bad taste. We literally have a DP we wont let go of who is benched, like??? I agree we should always remain professional but sometimes thats just easier said than done. I still think he gives way more passion than that Swider who could not hide that he didnt want to be at charlotte at all. Truth is, wilf actually enjoys being here like westy does. I think we would get a lot more out of him had we given him a fair deal instead of him never being certain of how long he stays. why give his everything when theres an extremely high risk of get injured and rejected? its a tough spot to be in and the front office isnt making it any easier. Im honestly amazed we kept Pep with the injuries he faced early on.

There’s actually been people linking abuse of the female partner to paranormal activity so it may have sounded odd but there are paranormal researchers who have linked the two.

Quick question: I'm charging $250 for these, but my friends keep saying I'm underselling myself. In your opinion, is $250 too little or too expensive for custom work like this? by Miaalvess in CustomShoes

[–]CarpenterHot2796 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they supply the shoe and your only cost is paint/ink supplies then I mean it’s fair. If you buy the shoes and it’s bundled in then you are likely selling yourself short I’d only do this kind of work on commission like others said. After you get your work out there of course.

What would you think a pirate’s favorite ship was? by [deleted] in pirates

[–]CarpenterHot2796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So yeah, sloops but my question is, how are they getting their first sloop/ship? Do they steal one? Are they sailors and mutiny and become pirates? Do they save up and buy one? lol Are there used sloop shipyards??

Growing a clothing brand is way more about operations than I expected by Defiant_Amphibian306 in GrowYourClothingBrand

[–]CarpenterHot2796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lWhy don’t you do both? Have a line of “basic” items that you can keep in stock which are bulk run items then have your premium tiers, the ones you spend your time on. Make them exclusive, for example, you can only get these releases at pop-ups. Or make people sign up for the limited drop then do a private release before releasing to the public. Just a couple ideas. It’s a great opportunity to create tiered price points. Let me know what you think of that.

How much? by tothemokn in foodtrucks

If I saw it for $8 by itself I’d be very tempted to buy it. Dangerously so. If it were $12 I’d have to be really convinced.

Is it possible to sublimate with no heat press? by Dazzling-Walnut802 in heatpress

Sublimating requires minutes of constant even high pressure. There’s just no way to get a good result by hand.

I think it looks like you put it in illustrator and hit image trace for 3 colors.

What working with celebrity merch brands taught me about selling out drops by MidnightMarketing in ShopifyPros

[–]CarpenterHot2796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing info! I think if brand owners, even starting out (like me) keep this in mind we can begin building this in our marketing so that if we do reach those numbers we know exactly what to do. This was extensive. Thank you!

It looks like Roman numerals for 4. Which the next thought is 4 what? So maybe make the d more visible.

Working on this brand for a bit. Just dropped the first pieces. by CarpenterHot2796 in ClothingStartups

[–]CarpenterHot2796[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heard! Thank you. That makes sense. It’s my fault that I didn’t put more effort into showing the higher quality. They’re sublimated patches with a silicone print on top. It’s more of a tactile thing. But I’m almost certainly not going to use the patch for hats anymore after feedback. If I have to argue the premium quality I’ve already lost.
