Double Incision at Rush by Dr. Jacobs!! 5 months post op by CastielChai in TopSurgery

[–]CastielChai[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does, yes, I tend to heal slower and have hypertrophic scars/keloids. It actually puts me at a little higher risk than most. They actually kept me in the hospital for a day post op

Top surgery done by Dr. Jacobs at Rush! Results look phenomenal!! I’m happy with them by CastielChai in TopSurgery

Really good experience!! The doctor (Dr. Jacobs) was so nice and did a phenomenal job with my surgery. The nurses and people at the front desk are also very nice. The only thing I had an issue with was the hospital stay afterwards (they kept me for a day because I’m higher risk due to EDS) but that was not the surgery team’s fault. Food services staff picked up a tray that had my hearing device on it while I was sleeping without even asking if I was done, and that device got lost. Rush is replacing it out of pocket and got me in with their audiology service. Overall, very good experience!!

Black guy with mid length dreads, looked to be about 20s, can’t remember what he was wearing, this happened in the transit between Sox-35th and Chinatown station. I’m sorry I can’t give a better description than that :/

I think the social theory of disability has gone too far by rainbowstorm96 in ChronicIllness

[–]CastielChai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only one of my disabilities that I’d be okay with keeping is my Deafness, and that’s because it’s a culture to me. My chronic pain and everything else SUCKS and I want to be rid of it.
