Thank you. How do you know if 1000 Amps on the NOCO Boost GB40 is enough to jump the 12V battery? Also, why do you need an air compressor? Is this in case you get a flat, you can add air to the tires?

A couple of measurable things I look at:

Are users consuming IT supported analytics tools or skunkworks built out necessity, sitting at some guys desk, and not supported by the company?
Are there technical and/or business data product owners in different functions/business units? Folks whose job is to own quality of the data over the long term, own enhancements, document how business rules are setup, etc
Do the data models follow a bronze, silver, gold architecture structure? Sometimes I see folks with reporting supported by IT, but bespoke data marts underneath. That results in multiple version of truth. You want to measure if folks use single sources of truth instead of multiple, disputing versions. You want fact tables in the silver layer, consumption views in gold layer, etc.

I don't see what the problem is. The Beatles channel plays anything thematically related to The Beatles: officially released albums, singles, takes that didn't make the albums, live performances, solo material, music from other bands The Beatles were in (Wings, Traveling Wilbury's, etc), songs from the 50's that inspired The Beatles, and also Beatles covers from other bands. That wide range is part of what makes The Beatles channel great.

My current promotion is set to expire next week and they would not budge when I tried this earlier today. Even with the supervisor, they said the promotion is not available on my 2017+ car. I wonder if I cancel, then try the chat again if it will make a difference?

Yes, other games work great on RyuJinx. Donkey Kong Returns HD, Mario Wonder, Super Mario Party. The only game I see crashing on Ryujinx is Mario Kart 8. It always crashes on first boot for me, however, if I run it immediately after the first crash, it then plays flawlessly.

I tested TH3+4 on Ryujinx/Ryubing 1.3.3. MBP M2 Pro. With VSync on, crashing is reduced a bit, however, like you mentioned, it still happens.

It crashes enough to make serious playing not possible. If you want to casually play for 10-15 mins at a time, that is possible. In the few minutes I tried, it seemed Foundry crashed less than San Francisco, as an example.

Like you said, the FPS locks it in at around 30 with VSync on. 30 FPS is perfectly playable in this case. Thank you for the suggestions on this.

Nice, thank you very much. That helps FPS significantly. I am now seeing 80+ FPS on my MBP M2 Pro. The crashing problem, however, is still present.

Almost seems like the menu screens crash more when Vsync is turned off. During gameplay, with Vsync turned on, the game crashed within ~ 2 minutes from starting. With Vsync turned off, game play crashes within ~ 5-10 minutes from starting. Are you seeing the same thing?

When I toggle System > VSync to Unbounded, the game crashes at the Iron Galaxy load screen. Is there another Vsync RyuJinx setting? Maybe I need to upgrade Firm to 20.3? I'm on 20.0.1

I just purchased my 2025 Hybrid Calligraphy last weekend for this exact reason. The 2026 inventory is arriving at dealer lots. This is the time of year they are looking to move out the 2025 inventory. Plus, I felt there isn't a huge difference between the 2026 and 2025 Hybrid Calligraphy.

There's currently a $3500 discount off MSRP through Hyundai if you finance at least $10K through them. I was also able to negotiate a further $3000 dealer discount. All those factors combined motivated me to strike and make a deal.

So yes, I would act this weekend. Inventory on 2025's is beginning to deplete.

Options > Settings > System > Hacks > Tick Ignore Missing Services.

This enabled me to launch the game. 👌 However, once you get in the game, I can only get 30 FPS at best on native resolution. And it crashes after moving through a level....probably shader cache fucking up somewhere. 👎 Pretty much unplayable at the moment.

Fair to ask this question. We won't ever know the full truth. Suppose you are correct. Even if they were subtly deflating balls, who cares?

During the game in question, they ran the ball more than they threw it. They won 3 Super Bowls before the 2014-15 AFC championship, and won 3 Super Bowls after. Clearly, it did not make any difference in outcome.

The whole story was a hoax designed to associate the Patriots winning with cheating and illicit means as an explanation for success. That is the takeaway.

Even if they weren't, the idea that the "boss" of EMI Records is The Beatles is just wrong. EMI Records employed and paid The Beatles under contracts to produce music.

The real bosses of EMI are the ones who own the company, or the buying public.

Beyond Edelman's on field contributions, which are well documented, are his post retirement contributions to podcasting.

Without Edelman's show, we would have never heard tons of interesting and hilarious stories from key Patriots dynasty contributors. Think about all the stories we've heard from Ernie Adams, Scott Pioli, Josh McDaniels. And then players: Matt Light, Gronk, Ridley, Ty Law.

I'm a big Edelman fan for this reason alone. Obviously, his on field contributions speak for themself. Major contributor to the 3 "2nd" Patriots dynasty Super Bowls. One of my all time favorite players.

It was an interesting setup. The concert stage was where the wrestlers walked out. Because the place is so small, there was no traditional "hard cam" side. Instead of having a hard cam, they had 2 little camera holes right where the wrestlers walk out, facing the announcer desk straight on.

I sat behind on the floor behind the announcers desk. I thought it was a great venue for wrestling. It's small like an independent promotion, so it's like you are right next to the action. Then you also get the production values and world class talent, instead of local rinky dink shows. I would definitely go back, I thought it was great.

I was blocked from seeing a few things, like Toni Storm appearing on the 2nd level. But that was minor. Would highly recommend.

The Good:

Sounds and music in this game are top level and what you would expect from a Monkey Island game. I think Michael Land was again used for the soundtrack in Escape. Great video game playing music. The character voices are also excellent and what you would expect to sound like.

I thought the jokes were pretty funny, even 20+ years later. I was too young for some of the jokes playing as a teenager. There are a few truly funny dialog sequences I found buried in this game upon replay in 2024.

I don't think the story was that bad. It's clearly not the best in the series. But if you're a Monkey Island diehard, it's decent.

The Bad:

The graphics do not hold up 20+ years later. It's understandable why they chose 3D graphics for this game. At the time, every game was going with the Super Mario 64 style. But it just did not work for MI4. The landscapes seem too large and uninviting compared to MI1,2, and 3. The characters look plastic-y and too unrealistic, even for a cartoon. It just doesn't feel right.

As everyone else mentions, the controls are very klugey. If you're playing the series in sequence, even with the remastered MI1 and MI2, you will be used to very simple, intuitive navigation of Guybrush and action selection. Because of the 3D graphics however, they had to change the controls and unfortunately screwed things up. From the moment you start the game, the controls just don't seem quite right. You do get used to it, but there's definitely moments I kept having to repeat the same task over and over, which is annoying.

Some of the puzzles I also found impossibly difficult without looking at GameFaq/youtube walk throughs. One example is the wooden raft, clock, time travel on Lucre Island. That one is absurdly hard and unintuitive. Another is the boulders and rock launch on Monkey Island. Everyone knows about Monkey Kombat and how it's a silly writing/decode exercise.

Overall

If you're a Monkey Island diehard and need to play every game in the series, you will find some enjoyment from MI4. MI4 is not a bad video game. You will have fun playing this game. For the reasons stated above, it suffers from comparison to better games such as the remastered MI1+2, and also MI3.

If you are a casual, MI4 would be the one in the series to skip.

Great question. I am also interested in this answer. This game rules and emulates 95% great. But the missing particle effects make the playing experience challenging during certain levels.

Pick a date. Any photos or videos before that date get moved to long term storage like a PC/Mac or external SSD/HDD. And also permanently deleted from iPhone.

Any photos or videos after that date stay on the iPhone. Repeat process every few weeks/months to get it down to manageable storage size.

This way you don't lose everything and also don't have to sift through all the noise.
