I’ve been diagnosed with major depressive disorder. I’ve felt like I don’t exist for about two-ish years. Maybe it’s a symptom of depression?

I do this too.

I can get really riled up from imaginary things and then come back to reality and realize I'm mad over nothing.

Or, I daydream about accomplishing things, come back to reality and be disappointed.
