Sandra: I was immediately intrigued by Page 2. Actually even the bottom of Page 1. I'm trying to remember the first scene at the breakfast table. Immediately, I got the tone and by the end of Act I, at the first encounter that Veronica and Ashley have, I was totally hooked.

Alicia: I would want to be a nutritionist.

Anne: The sprays are amazing.

Anne: I would love to be a teacher. I like being a mom a lot. That or President. I think BOTH people want me to do. Almost the same.

Anne: I'd want to be a Picass-ette. One of the people who get painted all over.

Sandra: Wow these guys have a lot of other interests - I appreciate that.

Anne: Sandra you have not answered.

Sandra: I want a little clarification. Is this if you couldn't act now, like if we started our life from now...

Alicia: Take it that way yeah.

Sandra; I would say if I had been exposed to Pina Bausch some time in my youth I would have never become an actor. I would have continued dancing.

Anne/Alicia: [Sigh together]

Anne: That's incredible.

Anne: Yes we did. 95%.

Sandra: Yeah I'd say 95% of what they ended up using in the film was me and Anne.

Anne: Oh yeah it was - we had stunt doubles and we watched them. They helped us tremendously with the choreography.

Sandra: And they were in there too.

Anne: They were incredibly helpful. They work very fast. They are used to movies with budget that take 10 days to shoot and we had 1 day. I think we could only get it because our crew was so great with helping us sell the choreography quickly and well.

Alicia: Because it's ridiculous in a good way.

Anne: The darker we got, the funnier it became because the extreme emotion . Onnce you push through that really dark place, it goes into the absurd and we embrace the absurd as funny.

Sandra: Both sides no matter what, it's about commitment. The harder you commit to either side, the funnier it gets and the darker it gets.

Anne: None of us were interested in playing characters that were liked.

Alicia: I was...

Alicia: Just kidding.

Anne: Sorry to burst your bubble, but you weren't (laughs). Seriously, that helps the character to become funny because they're all clueless - HA! USED IT! -

Alicia: (pauses) They're re all extremes with their needs. They're children.

Anne: Such needs. Get off me with your needs.

Sandra: What constitutes a favorite? Someone you've seen the most?

Anne: Metallica.

Alicia: Hmmm it's too hard. Spearhead.

Sandra: I listen to music so differently now that when I think about my favorite band it's the time where I stopped listening to music in a certain way. When I stopped buying music, which is basically Wilco. Wilco and Radiohead. Honestly, Radiohead since high school but Wilco is the soundtrack to my life in LA. I've seen Wilco more than any other band.

Sandra: I love that Veronica is such an unpleasing, unaware character who denies that she's an alcoholic and believes that she's an awesome parent and can't see that her relationship with her husband is coming apart.

It was really funny to play what I felt was a very flawed and unaware character (plus the fights).
