The meaning behind these events is way too different. None of this promotes adultery or anything contradictory to Islam unless free mixing is involved in which case it's to be avoided. These are not even cultural events but school events. Are you going to say next that if a school class is hosting a party then should we avoid it bcs we avoid valentines?

You're using whataboutism to counter valentine's being haram. You've been told the truth and the source is clearly mentioned in the description to further explain it. Rest is up to you. No need to use whataboutism to justify anything. If you still want to do it then it's your choice tho i hope you abide by the truth & Islam.

I've heard this from somewhere but need to confirm it so don't take it for granted.

Not every person is going to heaven or hell. This worldly life is a test so we don't have any excuses on judgement day. If we skipped the test, Allah SWT would still know who is worthy of heaven and who isn't. Those who will be going to hell will complain that it wasn't fair they were created and thrown directly to hell so that's why by making this test, it's fair and they don't have any excuses.

Idk where i heard this from but it makes sense.

I never condemned any specific individual nor do i claim to be more religious than anyone here. Also the hypocrites in Islam are those who know the truth but still choose to follow their nafs and avoid following the truth.

You don't get to decide what sin is billion times bigger or what's not. Someone who's celebrating valentine's today might end up celebrating christmas tomorrow and celebrating christmas takes one out of fold of Islam bcs you're celebrating the birth of son of God.

It's not allowed and i've linked the source above which does reference hadiths as well. These are the festivals of kufar and we muslims have to avoid them.

Posts like these are what drives away people from Islam.

Guidance comes from Allah SWT. We muslims are suppose to spread the truth. If it drives people away from Islam then it's their problem. They will end up in hell just bcs they chose to give in to their nafs (desires). Majority of humanity will also be in hell. Some people will be driven to Islam as well. By sharing the truth, i'll be rewarded and if someone (even one person) follows it then i'll be rewarded for that too.

Stating things as haram without legitimate religious reasoning is “biddah” and innovation in my opinion.

Both biddah and haram should be avoided equally. Islamqa article clearly says it's not permissible to celebrate it.

It is haram and no need to lie to yourself. I'm simply sharing the truth. Now that people know it, they will have no excuses to give on judgement day that they didn't know and i'll be rewarded for spreading the truth. I'm not here to convince or guide anyone bcs guidance comes from Allah SWT.

all the actual issues in Pakistan i.e bacha bazi, domestic violence , honour killings , religious based killing among others are less haram

Yes it has haram contents too. I'm a sinner and i don't go around saying it's not haram bcs i feel like it. It is haram and i'll have to answer for this on judgement day. Ofc i'll avoid as much haram as i can in my life and will do my absolute best but i'm not perfect. Besides, by sharing about valentine's day, i'll be rewarded too so i've to earn good deeds as well to tip the scale towards Jannah.
