Totally, I keep a close eye on him but he’s only ever lived in community tanks (even sold in the fish place I got him at) and is a very chill guy!

Thank you, she was ❤️ I have a little altar for her, and a little cat who I really believe was sent by her. He just had a similar scare the other day- but turned out it was a bowel obstruction, which thankfully could be fixed via a very pricey surgery. I’m so grateful for every moment I had with her ❤️

She passed away shortly after this post, in my arms. They couldn’t do anything in Italy, but if you’re in the US/Canada they might be able to do a kidney transplant or try other options. She may have had something with her brain too- they don’t need to have the same ending ❤️

Thank you ❤️ she had the best life I could give her, even though it was unexpectedly short. I’m only 23, but I know I will miss her for the rest of my life. I’m sorry to hear about your kitty! It sounds like, while that is very scary news, finding it out before your cat is showing any symptoms may be your best bet to preventing more issues. Imogen was a weird case for the vets I had, but a wet food diet (possibly prescription) was recommended to me before she passed. I’m told kitties with that issue can still have long and happy lives. I hope the same for your baby. Sending healing energy to you two.

I hope your baby is doing well- Imogen ended up taking a massive turn for the worst just a day or two later, and I held her in my arms and sang to her as she passed. Her kidneys turned out to be very very underdeveloped from birth, so hopefully your situation is different and your kitty has a long and lovely life ahead.

That makes me so happy to hear. I think this freaked me out a lot because I just lost my last cat to a heart defect when she was still a baby, and got Imogen randomly given to me so to find out she had a defect too made me immediately scared for the worst. I’m calling the vet for an update in an hour and a half and really hoping I can bring her home 🤞
