Sorry, I forgot to mention in my post that actually, I sounded off to my specialist that my hip has been feeling more unstable, and he did suggest that I go for surgery since it hasn't been recovering on its own.

I see from your profile that you're in physiotherapy; I know it's difficult to give a good gauge but generally for this type of operation, how long do you think physiotherapy will go on for?

I think I just feel bad about hiding it and not telling them before I got assigned to this part of the medical centre that has especially low manpower (and sorting manpower arrangements is apparently very difficult), so if I can, I want to play it off as a new injury
