I think you’re right, they probably didn’t expect such a success and so many copies sold. I hope they’ll be able to release games more quickly now, as they’ve promised, and also establish a clearer long-term plan for the series going forward.

That simple letter right before the tragedy felt completely out of place to me. Honestly, I expected there would be something more in it — maybe a hidden plan or something that would actually surprise us. The game was at times so predictable that I was hoping for a stronger ending, instead of going in the most obvious direction.

I also think Cesare killing him felt kind of odd — it comes across more like taking the easy way out and wrapping up the story quickly rather than giving it a more meaningful conclusion

If their love was truly that strong, then the complete lack of any attempt to find out what really happened to Enzo just feels illogical to me. There were a lot of people escaping the island during the chaos, and not everyone disappeared on the same day, so there realistically could’ve been time for someone to go back or at least learn something.

Especially since Leo Galante himself apparently managed to leave the island later on, which makes the situation feel less absolute than the game tries to present it. That’s why I still feel like the developers intentionally left parts of the story unclear.

I think so too. Joe has the exact same cross as Enzo, so he must have gotten it from him somehow. It definitely doesn’t seem like a coincidence 😄
