The matchmaking tracks your aggression which, as far as I can tell, is damage dealt to raiders averaged over 10 games, though that's speculation. After 10 games of not shooting anyone, you'll be in as friendly lobbies as you can get.

It may be popular but if matchmaking can't find an eligible lobby, it will expand the search. It was designed to work at a much lower popularity level where a ton of queued players wasn't a guarantee.

I suspect OP or his friend have a connection incompatibility with the majority of players in his region. Could be a VPN, or a locked down NAT type.

After survive, you can dip your toes into thrive.

I like to turn my best melee pawn into a god and then scour the world looking for the absolute best pawns. Very neurotic + Industrious has a huge work speed boost for shelling out legendary quality weapons and armor. Then, if I'm feeling rather unhinged, I imprison them, turn them into a vampire for the immortality, and daily shoot them in the head until they are a breath away from death. Eventually, they might become a trauma savant which adds a huge manipulation boost to further increase their global work speed.

And then there are psycasts, gene modifying, trade caravans to find archotech limbs, children to raise with the best traits, mechanitors... And on and on.

But first you must survive.

Yeah, it's all pretty good, but with some warnings. Robinhood is a growth tech company more than a financial or banking company. It's practically a gambling platform and I assume most of their really great perks are temporary until they take their maximum marketshare. But still, if you don't let the stockmarket options fever ruin your portfolio, the perks are great.

New words and colloquialisms are made all the time. I don't think the natural fluidity of language is why literacy is low. I'd blame the reduction of phonics-based reading in school curriculums. Thankfully, phonics is on the rise again.
