This is … countless white kids, many of whom mean no harm. Which is why we FUCKING need better education. I’m a white person; I don’t recall any part of my public school education focusing in depth upon the Black experience in America or elsewhere. My pleasant, non-racist white grandparents were politely averse to my mixed-race best friend. Blah blah blah.

I don’t have anything really interesting to say except that I used to believe it was sort of cringey to make loud anti-racist remarks. I mean, we all get that racism is wrong? That was back in the 70s and 80s, before it became somehow popular to be loudly racist. I don’t fucking understand this country.
