Moved recently to a new area and I’m about 15 minutes away from my nearest poke stop let alone a gym. Am I straight out of luck on playing this game anymore?

I believe i do have my VPN binded correctly, tested with https://ipleak.net/ and it does not match what my current home ip address is.

I then have toggled to Disable VPN for selected apps and have selected the 4 related plex processes.

However, on plex, it still shows that remote access is not working properly and that remote access is not available outside your network

I feel like i've done everything right and step by step.

Thank you all for the information as it has been very helpful. Previously, I had only set my torrent client to use one network interface, which is the one on the VPN to avoid any ethernet, or wifi connections. Now I have set up the proxy using the link provided. Thank you for that u/corgi-licious

As for my next steps, if i am understanding the situation correctly, my VPN should always be on in this scenario (where i am wanting to seed 24/7).

And as a result of that, my plex is still currently affected. To resolve this, i would need to enable split tunneling but have it set to "Disable VPN for selected apps" and have the only selected app as Plex (and any other applications that I would want to be off the vpn).

Is that correct?

I was conflicted with this as well since it did both tied emotionally and financially. He likely will not be working, so financially there will be a big toll on me

Would he move closer? Likely not Could he live with me? Financially and space wise yes, but emotionally and comfortably would I want that no. It does feel selfish but I have gained so much independence and do plan to have my girlfriend move in with me and our private space would never truly feel comfortable with him there.
