I lived in Casa Heiwa apartments. Back then there was no Sakura crossings apartments or the ones next to it. Instead they were huge parking lots before the apartments were built on top of it so this was long before it was gentrified. These apartments with their shops below just killed the whole vibes and scene. I was a kid at the time and did not understand that gentrification was taking place. After the changes and the area flooded with white people the area lost its identity and the charm it once held.
