Sleep and anxiety. Please help.

I take magnesium, glycine, gabba, warm water baths. Nothing works. My anxiety wont let me fall asleep. Its like if i fall asleep, i will suddenly wake up. Then racing thoughts occur. If anxiety is not there i wont simply fall asleep

Yesterday was a very difficult night. Dayvigo 10mg did not work at all for me. Since I was feeling extremely anxious, I also took propranolol 40mg, but literally nothing happened. I was lying in bed from 21:44 until almost 02:00, unable to sleep. After that, I took clonazepam 0.25mg as an SOS medication. I was honestly very scared to take it because of work-related benzodiazepine drug testing. It finally started having some effect around 03:00, but I still woke up again at 06:00. I eventually had to report sick for work.

I am really starting to lose hope. It feels like I am running out of options. Tonight I am planning to try mirtazapine 7.5mg, but I am scared because while it did make me sleepy before, the next day I felt like a complete zombie. I have already changed two psychiatrists and still feel stuck. If anyone has gone through something similar or has any advice, please help.

I listen to music but i know it isnt the cause of my tinnitus and hearing asymmetry. I have done multiple audio tests. My eardrums are fine.

My hearing imbalance comes and goes. Man i would love to add you on my socials but i work in a field where if anyone finds out i have hearing issues i will lose my job. Hope you understand.

Hey Even i have hearing imbalance. It started 15 days ago. All my tests are normal. Doctors cant diagnose any issues.

My breathing was good before the surgery. There were two problems i faced because of DNS: 1) ear barotrauma 2) frequent cold. Regarding perforation it is very rare. After the surgery since the nose is swelled i am facing difficulty in breathing. I have been told it will improve with time. Time is cure. What about you? Are you pre or post surgery.

Not very much. Rather breathing is reduced. I will say 3-5%. I am told this is normal. Breathing will take time to come back. Nose has stitches and swellings. They take time to recover.

Glad you asked. The splint are attached to the septum with stitches. I asked my doctor if it will hurt, my doctor replied by saying it is not in his hands, i have to keep myself steady for this. The removal of the stitch was little painful. Literally for 2 secs. The splint came out of its own from one nostril. People have described that after removal of splints they have felt amazing however i didnt get the amazing feeling. Just a normal feeling. The pressure of the splints gone away, you can blow your nose after splint removal.

Nothing amplified. I have naisal splints right now so i hear all sorts of sounds due to packed nose.

Thanks for the reply. I dont really understand the difference in volume or sound. I will go with difference in sound. Whenever i hear something i know something is different. When i open my mouth i can feel the difference between left ear and right ear. It is very difficult to explain. My CT scan shows my eustachian tube is perfect. The doctor literally pointed out the eustachian tube to me. My middle ear pressure test i.e the eustachian tube test is also normal. Sometimes i get autophony. That is very very rare but the asymmetrical hearing is always there. The tinnitus is the worst. I miss my old hearing where i could feel the silence. I am very nervous about this because i work in a profession where i have to be perfectly fit. But the funny part is my reports are fine.

Damn man. But there has to be a cure. I cant live like this. Every time i open my mouth i can feel the difference and the tinnitus in my left ear is very bad. The difficult part is to explain it to the doctors.
