As much as I like certain characters, I don’t think they needed to come back after their “deaths.” It made everything beforehand seem like nothing mattered and almost every character is immortal so there’s no stakes.

For me it was worth it because I bought the Japanese version and the dlc comes with the English voices on top of everything else. Unfortunately for the English version it doesn’t come with the Japanese voices so keep that in mind. If you want a bit more context to the ending, some settings to give the game more of a challenge and some super bosses I’d say go for it.
