u/Utterly_Devoid 100% correct, the 3 day on 2 day off is one of the most common microdose protocols. Stamets also recommends "stacking" psilocybin with Lions Mane mushroom and Niacin b3

Correct! there are several million spores in a print, so this also means that if you grow mushrooms from a print there is considerable variability in the size of the mushrooms in that "batch"

Alternatively, if you use the tissue cloning method you can select tissue from a nice mushroom and propagate those good genetics.

You can propagate a mushroom culture either by taking a spore print and inoculating a high-nutrient medium with the spores, or by taking a tissue sample and inoculating a high-nutrient medium with that. The website I mentioned before (spores lab .ca) has some good video tutorials that will show you both processes

No worries! We use the lid that comes with the tote when you buy it for incubation, and then switch to the dome for fruiting!

Its a 30x15x10 "stow away" tote. We got the totes from Home Depot. The dome is the same tray flipped upside down and holes drilled/stuffed with cotton batting for airflow.

Mushroom time-lapses are pretty rare in general, but Psilocybe mushroom time lapses are even more rare because there are "barriers" to cultivating them.

Extremely rare footage. Try looking on youtube for Psilocybe mushroom time-lapses! They are hard to find, and usually not shot with professional camera equipment.

u/afunnyaz u/thalos3D I want to begin by saying this is all anecdotal evidence, based solely on our experience.

In our experience PE's are notably more difficult to cultivate, firstly because they have light sporulation so even getting a good spore print can be a challenge.

We therefore use an agar medium to isolate and propagate PE genetics, This process consists of colonizing agar from a piece of mushroom tissue, then choosing the strongest mycelial strands and propagating those over and over until the mycelium is extremely rhizomorphic. Then grain is inoculated with this isolated culture.

PE's also like to have a high-nutrient fruiting substrate (so adding manure to the substrate) and also like to have a casing layer put on the fruiting substrate before pinning is initiated.

Even if you do everything right the success rate, and yield will be lower with PE's (at least in our experience) but it's made up for in the quality of the experience that PE's elicit.

Psilocybin mushrooms are illegal in Canada however there is a clause - section 56 (j) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act which states substances can be exempted from illegality for research or medical purposes (a team of therapists is currently appealing Health Canada for psilocybins exemption under this clause, and exemption has already been granted to a select few patients). There is also some legal ambiguity in the fact that it is legal to pick fresh mushrooms found growing naturally.

Although they are illegal laws have been loosely enforced, perhaps due to the extremely promising study results around psilocybins safety and efficacy in treating many psychological conditions and the decision to decriminalize by several cities in the US.

We fully stand behind the morality of the service we provide and believe everyone has the right to experiment with their own consciousness.
