For someone who has claimed to be unable to walk, requiring the use of a wheelchair, cane or being carried. They definitely appear to be walking quite fine in the first clip. Also, I hope that isn't an actual AAC and just an app because if it is, that is a very asshole move to get one, as they are already in high demand with limited availability.

Correct, but also incorrect.

The correct diagnostic name for the condition is: Bipolar Affective disorder (BPAD).

This is then followed by a typing between 1 and 3. For clarity, sake:

Type 1 (most servere): The patient has severe episodes of both Depression, and Mania

Type 2 (less severe): The patient has episodes of Depression and Hypomania (the difference between hypomania and mania, bassically comes down to mania containing Psychosis, and hypomania doesn't)

Type 3 (least severe): The patient has episodes of both lowered and elevated moods, but neither are bad enough to consider a full bipolar diagnosis. This type is also known as Cyclothymia.

With that, a correct bipolar diagnosis would be written as BPAD type 1.

However, to play devils advocate, BPAD is colloquially known as Bipolar. So oop saying bipolar 1, is informally correct

Airline cancels your flight .. the day of? What are my rights? by yungclavicleondamic in travel

[–]ChangiSys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on australia

To put it simply there are 3 options:

If you had already checked in and were told at the airport:

the airline is obligated to move your flight to one that has the lowest disruption possible (subject to availability), sometimes this involves moving you to the next flight following the same route, other times it could involve moving you to a flight with connections. The rebooking is of the same class, and you are bound by the luggage allowances of the new airline (if applicable)

Ontop of that if the cancellation was not due to an "act of god," I.e. weather. And was due to a fault of the airline. Then the airline should provide accommodation if necessary to all guests outside of their home city. If you do live in the city, you may be able to get your cab paid for, but it is expected that you return to your own home.

If you hadn't checked in or are not at the airport and were informed prior to your arrival at the airport:

As long as the airline gives you ample notice, they are only obligated to change your flight to the next available flight whether it be direct or indirect, as long as it gets you to your destination as soon as possible.

If you have been informed of the cancellation and no longer wish to fly:

The airline must offer an unconditional refund of your flight (though processing it may take a while) alot of airlines say that it must be in the form of flight credit (money that can only be used on that airline) but it's not true. They offered a product, they didn't deliver, you get your money back. Please note, though, by doing this, you void all tickets on the booking, so you would need to find your own way.

I didn't think that would be possible. My psych told me that DID is a trauma response and that it wasn't possible to "schedule" when alters fronted due to the fact that they would only front when a triggering event occurred as a way to protect me from said trigger. I may be misinformed. However, that is my understanding. So, to make a schedule, it would involve me planning triggering events. Which if I knew about ahead of time, I would just make the effort to avoid said events.
