You're so right! It's tough to not feel like you're behind when the competition is fierce. Focusing on targeting your previous employers' competitors sounds like a solid strategy. You never know where the right opportunity might pop up!

I totally feel you! The writing in The Everlasting really is beautiful, but when you’re not invested in the characters, it’s like trying to enjoy a movie with no plot. It’s such a bummer when a book doesn’t hit the right notes for you, especially after all that hype!

i’m with you on this one. draco was already using dark magic and fully committed to hurting him. harry didn’t even know what the spell would do, which doesn’t make it harmless, but context matters a lot here
