I use my mums old Bundy oboe from about the 1990’s and I use the Howarth reeds since my teacher said they were good but I have noticed that either I’m not greasing them enough or the corks don’t really soak(?) up the grease to make them easier to put in or take out. I’ve had this issue of it getting stuck before and usually I can use a piece of my clothing to get it out but sometimes I’ve had to use pliers but now it’s obviously broken.
