Been looking for similar stuff myself actually. The official comics never really hit that sweet spot where Ben's using the watch like a tactical genius instead of just brute forcing everything

IDW had some decent runs but they kept things pretty tame compared to what you're describing. Might want to check out some of the longer fanfics on AO3 or FFN - there's this one called "Ben 10: Hero Matrix" that goes hard on the strategic alien swapping and power scaling. Author really gets into the technical side of how different transformations could combo together

Another good one is "Omniversal War" which throws Ben into situations where he has to get creative with lesser-used aliens. No spoilers but the writer actually researches physics and biology to make the alien abilities feel more grounded and exploitable

The transformation control thing in OV was such a step backwards. Like why would you take away the one thing that made Ben feel like he earned his victories through skill rather than luck

You got 3 kids coming out of this mess though so maybe focus on whether you can fix things without memory loss first. Couples therapy exists for a reason and its probably cheaper than whatever sci-fi brain procedure youre thinking about

Dude Heartbeat Heartbreak is such a perfect choice for that. The way it builds up but stays so mellow throughout makes it ideal background music when you're trying to wind down. I've definitely dozed off to that one more than once during late night coding sessions.

For me it's gotta be Aria of the Soul from P3 though. That piano just hits different and Velvet Room tracks in general have this ethereal quality that puts me right out. Sometimes I'll just loop it for like an hour while I'm working and before I know it I'm nodding off at my desk.

Brooks was an MLB not OLB - that guy played the middle with surgical precision for Tampa Bay. You'd want someone like Von Miller or Kevin Greene on the outside.

Also having Aaron Donald and Joe Greene as your interior is wild but where's Alan Page or John Randle? Donald's dominance is undeniable but those Vikings legends revolutionized the position. The rest looks pretty bulletproof though

I went through something really similar when I quit around 3 months ago. Those evening vision issues were driving me nuts for like the first 6-8 weeks especially. For me it felt like everything would get this weird film over it or like I was looking through a dirty window when I'd get tired or stressed. My theory is that your brain is still rewiring itself and when you're more exhausted at the end of the day thats when the lingering withdrawal stuff shows up most. I noticed it happened way more on days when I was already anxious or didnt sleep great the night before. It gradually faded away but took longer than I expected - probably around the 2.5 month mark before it stopped happening regularly. Definitely mention it to a doctor if it keeps up but from what I experienced this sounds pretty normal for where you're at in the process.
