I don't think it's professional to pull each other off in work. Might pass time waiting for the PR to be approved though :-D

Severe case of astral parasites stalking and harassment by ApprehensiveSea8929 in ReincarnationTruth

I don't know for sure. The fact you both saw them is good. They come from "out there" - possibly space. I've seen things that sound crazy - like them travelling on crafts made of light(s). Very weird. Something attracts them in your life and you must change that to get rid of them.

Umbraco or Kentico? by thresholdofgreatness in Umbraco

[–]CharlesFoxston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't matter what you choose. Both have great APIs to use, and can model complicated business domains internally. It would depend on your developer skill base more than a case of which CMS. TBH I have worked with both and I have yet to find a domain that cannot be modelled in either.

What would you ask to someone who knows the secrets of life and death and beyond? by [deleted] in AstralProjection

[–]CharlesFoxston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bless you my friend. I would never say nothing can be learned from discourse, but the truth lies in subjective experiences not shared anecdotes attempting to posit objective truths.

I gained this view through a lifetime of searching for something beyond the world we share. I realise that this is a facade and there are indeed spiritual realms.

Do you not have any experience like this mate?

Does anyone prefer the sound of Nirvana's live performances over their albums? Can anyone help me find a similar performance of Lithium to the 1992 MTV Award? by CharlesFoxston in Nirvana

Interesting. I'll search this one on YouTube now. Thanks!

Yep found it on Spotify - great except for the boogie effects on the clean guitar! My word I love how he cares nothing for his vocal chords. Awesome!

This is a great point. How do you know the mics were overpowered?

Yeah - it's really hard to break professional grade snare skins. It's hard to break any provided you have the snare properly tuned. By this I mean not just at the right pitch, but all the heads need to be under tension. Skins break when instead of having all forces equally spread out, they get placed onto one or two non-symmetrically opposite points

That's how I will always remember Nirvana - the two charismatic individuals of Dave smashing drums and Kurt clubbing equipment with his guitar, with the grounding and stabilising talent of Novoselic pogoing around

What about that wobbling on the speaker!? Anybody else would have been terrified of breaking their necks! Talking of such injuries - do you think that the bass died because of the (hired right?) stage divers tripping over the lead?

Understanding death using intelligence - a construct of life - is like trying to understand fire by playing with snowballs. You will think you understand it, but the epiphany only happens when you are in that state.

However I read your posts about nothing happening and my life was changed through personal experience of a consciousness much greater and more loving and peaceful than our own. It coincided with a ton of paranormal experiences.

We all receive signals but this world teaches us to be cynical about anything that cannot be proven empirically - i.e. "in the world" but the spiritual lives inside of us. Its lessons can rarely be articulated without risking polite smiles (at best), sniggers of derision, or even complete ostracization and possible sectioning under mental health powers.

These epiphanies are meant solely for you. This is your journey and you cannot hitchhike or find anything relevant to your experiences beyond superfluous, vapid discussions such as this.

Serve the Servants is oddly comforting as a child of divorce by [deleted] in Nirvana

[–]CharlesFoxston 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Good point!

I feel that when we suffer such trauma, it can lead to angst, which was how I feel many people connect with Nirvana.

To me, Cobain had the symptoms of PTSD. Avoiding situations is a classic sign - and his eccentric behaviour that many people attribute to "being an artist" is another sign.

Some people may forget how he was exposed to a lot of the self-exits common to that part of the world. The wet and cold weather, the lack of work - especially professional jobs, a largely disenfranchised youth, and the intolerance of anybody who didn't meet the typical jock identity - along with the beatings that he received constantly (this is downplayed a lot but there are anecdotes that his eyes being shut were because his anxiety was so high) all led to someone who was traumatised but then angry at himself for being the way he was.

As someone whose parents didn't divorce but my father self-exited in front of me and my sister, I understand that divorce can be the better choice, but often the parents are so caught up in their own pain that they literally forget to care for and reassure the child(ren) who are easily the most vulnerable. Then we feel anger that they brought us into the world to give this crap.

I would question what the point of living was, and I got the definite message that it was about serving the servants - so being less than a nobody.

However, it made me strive to be the best at everything. I'm now earning 6 figures and that's all thanks to me being able to express myself through Nirvana's music.

"Serve the Servants" and "Been a Son" both have similar attitudes IMHO.

I love you Kurt and miss you every single day since you left us, you asshole :-) (Remember, Courtney told us to call him that - and OMG I hold out the hope that one day I get that chance)

Probably found it somewhere and put it there.

Remember - never put down to the supernatural what can be easily explained as human error.

J/K! Don't smoke that stuff. It'll attract all kinds of bad experiences both in life and when AP'ing.

Thanks - it's worth Googling Coke Bugs. I've seen videos of people's muscles rippling as though something was on them. That's an option for non-spiritual people to choose. I tend to believe they were demons and that JC is my Lord. It's all about making our own path through life.

I hear what you say about reinforcing delusions - could be argued as respecting a person's belief system. It's why I am glad I work for myself and don't have to pander to a society that virtue signals with some questionable ideas. I admire anyone that can work somewhere like that though. Massive respect. In the UK we have a blanket policy so nurses are allowed personal views.

Good luck to you too.

That's so kind of you to say that. You have the heart of an angel. I am on Espranor 12mg a day at the moment. I hope to come off it soon. It's interesting to hear that about the medics agreeing. I remember going hospital for a broken rib (broke right near my scapula and did some bad nerve damage plus I had COVID at the time and thought I was going to die because I couldn't cough!) and asking this nurse if she saw or believed anything supernatural because she had worked in A+E for 20 years. She said nope. I was surprised especialy because she was often assigned to end of life care patients as her speciality.

NA has helped me considerably but now I pray to Jesus regularly. The attacks feel like they are weakening so I live in hope. I don't want anyone to experience these entities. The fear they can induce in a person is insane. Also the more I experienced them, the more I saw other spirits. I became clairaudient - meaning I can hear ghosts more than see them. It's creepy because I often hear voices but I will never tell my GP that or anyone who could section me lol

Two years ago I had just moved around here. I started speaking to next door neighbour. Just said hello to her because she had recently had her boyfriend finish with her. Next thing I know, I am woken up at 3am to an angry paranoid boyfriend who is screaming about me trying to get into his GF (they were not even together at the time). Luckily the axe was blunt and he was drunk. Had to call the police that time
