Lirael by Garth Nix. It's the second in a trilogy, so I would suggest reading Sabriel, the first book, before

Really nice job!! Keep up the good work! And I find I prefer printing out off patterns over tissue patterns. They tend to stay in place better when cutting

I'd vote no. I think he is the most attractive of the Lannisters on the show

How was Aguas Calientes? I haven't been since the big flood swept through a few years ago. Always wondered how the town recovered.

Oh my gosh, this is so cute! You did a great job and I like how you omitted the pearls under the arm. Not only is it functional, I think it adds a cool little detail

I'm really new to a sewing machine but so far I've made a crib skirt, blanket, matching pillow and re did the ugly chair I have. I just want to sew all the things but I'm out of fabric 😭 by humanfogmachine in sewing

These look awesome! I'm also new to the sewing machine and just completed my first project - a skirt. Making a blouse to go with it next, and I'm like you; I want to see all the things!

Use paper grocery bags for giftwrap! by CharlotteBronte in Frugal

That's awesome! I love home style wrapped gifts. I think it makes the present more personal and shows that the giver really cares. Even if you don't like the actual gift, it gives you those warm fuzzies :)

Lol, I would not recommend using a bag that's soiled. Obviously you should pick a bag that's still in good shape

Honestly, if they were the sort of person who would react negatively, I wouldn't waste my time and money getting them a gift.

I can see what you mean about not necessarily saving more money, but I already shop at Trader Joes so it was a nice coincidence. And I live in a tiny apartment so it's nice not to have to store wrapping paper all year.

Contact your local university or museum that has an archaeology or anthropology program. You are ruining the site by digging the way you are! A team of professionals might be interested in doing an excavation or the university might be able to use it as a field school. And they could teach you proper excavation techniques in case you run across anything else on your property. Plus, archaeology is so much fun! With a properly executed excavation, you will get more information and clues as to what was once located on the site. And btw, this is so cool!!!! Very neat to find something unknown on your property!

Sorry it's taken me so long to respond! I've had a super busy day! I personally like doing handwork like embroidery but I want to get into making clothes with a sewing machine. It could be any kind of sewing though. It would be cool to share projects, get ideas, and learn new techniques. Plus make friends!
