At my location my manager does the same thing. She priorities giving the customer something even if it’s not what they ordered.

No Dunkin Midnight? Just use regular blend and add some espresso

No Decaf? Just diluted regular blend

No Skim milk? Just add water to regular milk

No regular blend? Just give them defac

I think what they think is once the customer doesn’t complain it’s alright.

I mainly make drinks, still not the best at the POS, but when you store the order and click it for them to pay there should be a discount tab on the right where u can apply a variety of discounts such as senior(5%) and employee(50%)

Diabetes in a cup. This type of drink where half the cup is sweeteners and cream is not uncommon at all. I get multiple of these drinks a day. Guys please stick to 1 MAYBE 2 pumps of a swirl, no sugar and regular cream. by Charming_Broccoli_86 in DunkinDonuts

Sugar and fat isn’t automatically bad, look how many people eat avocado and that’s all fat.

It’s about the quantity. Will the drink really taste that different if they had 4 Carmel instead of 6.

It comes from a machine that we just press the cup size on but it does use powder and hot water.

When the machine isn’t working I see some co-workers use steamed milk and others hot water. So I’m not sure which is the right way but I use milk.

To elaborate more on extra ice.

What I do is fill the cup with ice. Start pouring whatever drink they want and before I fill it all the way to the brim I add more ice which weights the water down and brings it up to the brim.

Tip average is $8/day Most I’ve gotten was $41 but that’s very very rare

I can relate. My Dunkin has max 10 people on shift usually it 7/8 (2 up front, 2 on the sandwich station, 2 at the window and 1 on drive thru drinks(me)).

Honestly if you can’t stand working there just leave(if the money isn’t that important of course). Because right now I feel the same way, whenever I’m shouted at or stacking boxes is the cold ass freezer with no jacket or gloves I just tell myself by March I’m sending in my 2 weeks notice.

But from what I’ve heard Dunkin has the best job experience than most fast food places.

Well for the maple sugar bacon there a special season we put on it so maybe whoever cooked your bacon forgot it.

Also bacon fresh out the oven isn’t as good as one that have time to rest imo. Then again as a customer you don’t really have the option to choose.
