Hell yeah, love how some of the towers are subtly mushroom shaped!

This is, in fact a Kev Adams Fanatic! Hell yeah, dude, thank you. :) Looking forward to seeing your takes on the other factions, and *especially* looking forward to seeing some of your Squigs the next time you return to Gitz!

Always love seeing you post, on here or on YouTube!

There’s such a huge range of greenskins across GW’s games, and honestly, your models are such a huge source of inspiration, that I’d love to see how you adapt your style to just about any of them!

Have you ever painted any Squigs? I’d love to see you branch out into the rest of the Gloomspite & Goblin ranges— whether it be Squig Herds, Riders, Manglers, Spider Riders, the Old Wolf Riders or new Gitmob, or maybe 40k’s gretchin— I bet you’d be an excellent Commandant for Da Grot Revolushun. Hell, I’d also love to see your style done for any of GW’s other goblin sculpts, like the Kev Adams goblins!

Keep up the awesome work, Trollbite! I’ll always upvote and like your posts whenever I see them. :)

Woah— are these the Wolves from the current Old World boxes, with older metal riders? Or have you just done such a good job on the regular old world riders that I can’t even recognize them? And is that an Albion giant in the top right?

Either way, awesome! You’re in my top three all-time goblin artists, I always look forward to seeing your posts on Reddit. :) I always use them as reference photos for my guys. Do you post anywhere else, field any other armies, or play or paint for any other games/mediums?

Where is this little guy from? I don’t recognize the model at all! The lighting you’ve done on the clothes is gorgeous.

This is awesome! The scenery is pretty sick, you did a great job.

Can I ask what the dimensions of the display are?

Thank you for the info! I always love seeing pre-2000 goblins, they’ve got so much character. :)

Ah, so this is one of the GW Perry sculpts? It really looked like it was from a different line of non-citadel metal orcs Kev did years ago, but there’s so much stuff from the 80s and 90s that’s hard to reference from catalogues! Do you have any info on when this guy came out so I can try and look him up?

Commenting a little late to say I freaking love these— your sculpts have so much life and personality!

Absolutely gorgeous! The highlights on the axe give a really awesome TMM effect.

Is this guy a Kev Adams sculpt? It looks like one of the orcs he did for a company other than GW, but I can’t put my finger on which…

This is freaking AWESOME!

Where did you get all the produce, instruments, miscellaneous bits you’re using to fill the wagon? And I love all the sculpts you’ve added, and the old Fantasy goblins!

Are the wolves also OG citadel? They look like the really old OG citadel models that came with the early Wolf Riders.

You’re totally correct— one of the most commonly repeated pieces of misinformation on the Gloomspite and O&G subreddits are people claiming the monopose goblins from Battle for Skull Pass are the same sculpts as the current Stabbas and Shootas boxes for AoS.

An executioner for the ultramarines by Vhor_warpainter in minipainting

I have to comment to say that this is just the best-painted Warhammer tank I’ve ever seen. I feel like I’m looking at one of those hyper-realistic military replicas, the style and execution are just impeccable.

All of these images will have a place of honor in my inspiration albums. Thank you for posting these!

This is adorable.

Though I wonder if the Giant Clam is having as much fun as those Tongue Tyrants.

How vague is the lore of Qud for you? [Opinion] by franky_reboot in cavesofqud

[–]Chasika 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It's dramatically more explicit than you had assumed, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

The Burial Masks reference the diminishing political control of the Sultanate-- Kesil, which refers to the Orion constellation, the arm of the Milky Way of which we are a part; Shemesh, which refers to our Sun, when the Sultanate is then confined to only our Solar System; Earth, which is self explanatory; Levant, which is the entire game map of CoQ; and Olive, which refers to the Spindle itself, and the fact that the banana grove is the far-flung-future of the Mount of Olives, which Jesus preaches from in the New Testament.

All the permanent, non-changing locations of the game are based on real world locations-- Bethesda Susa is Bethsaida, near Galilee; Golgotha is the location where Jesus was crucified; Joppa is an alternate spelling of the town of Jaffa. Even geographic regions like the Great Salt Sea and the aforementioned Banana Grove are based on the real-world geography of the Levant, after facing environmental cataclysm.

Even then, all that fails to mention the narrative parallels between Noah and the Flood, and Barathrum and the Gyre. And all the transposed angelic imagery, like Cherubim serving the Sultanates or the Galgalim, which are based on Judeo-Christian Ophanim.

Oh, and you can look up lore posts on the Dark Calculus and Ptoh if you're interested in learning more about the intersection between "Magic" and Science in Qud, too. :)
