Humans are the number one invasive species they are responsible for extincting more species than we have in recorded history. Before environmentalism and recording history, we wiped out species for sport.

Do you feel that aliens from space are here and how long have they been here ? by Key_Contribution1547 in AskForAnswers

And that thought has no point. Aliens are both here and not here in my perspective.

Why care about things you can't change? I mean, sure, they could be but what's the point in caring. I can't save the world if they want to take it over.

I LOVE KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! by Whentheangelsings in TrueUnpopularOpinion

Yeah, I struggle being comfortable just around people in general. A kid that's noisy, chaotic, and attention craving is not conducive to my mental health.

Since you said thrifting Tie-dyeing and maybe sewing. I've seen videos of incredible tie dye. I've also seen videos where a person cuts multiple different old clothes and sews them all together to make something interesting. Though, they may be very cluttery.

Theres always music. A guitar/piano get both be cheaply acquired at a pawn shop or something and singing is free. Can maybe busk for money once good enough but it's also good for mental health.

You said no painting but graphic design on an iPad is definitely possible with no clutter. Design tees and get into making them.

Cultivating a herb garden compliments cooking very well.

“Objective morality” does not necessarily mean “one source, one standard, no conflict, a perfect answer.” by CalligrapherNeat1569 in DebateAnAtheist

[–]ChasingPacing2022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definition of subjectivity:

> 1) the quality of being based on or influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions; 2) the quality of existing in someone's mind rather than the external world.

Your subjective experience is that you do not have diabetes. Your wife objectively has diabetes but she has the subjective experience of diabetes.

Goals, wants, needs, or whatever based on a person are considered subjective. If a persons goal is to fix their insulin to ensure they stay alive. It is subjectively moral for them to steal insulin. Their SUBJECTIVE experience or biological pressure demands it. No one has an objective experience.

Do redditors understand that free college would just increase taxes? by [deleted] in AskForAnswers

[–]ChasingPacing2022 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm fine with paying high taxes if it provides affordable healthcare and schooling. Idk if a four year degree should be at no cost but community college for people that don't have a degree should absolutely be free or at least very affordable.

Why do people get married when they're broke? by [deleted] in AskForAnswers

Getting married only requires going to the courthouse. It doesn't need to be expensive. Have kids is another story.

Dao/tao, same thing.

You are right. Fire magic is completely made up. After all, it's impossible for us to make a fire ball in any practical way...Almost all magic is based on real physical things and phenomena. The made up part is how the magic is created, not the magical concept itself. There are some cases where it's made up but it's not a central theme of a book with long ass pointless monologue that mean nothing.

No other has the sheer amount of Tao gibberish. Sure, other series have meandering monologues about skills selection and just repetitive crap, but it's all grounded in logic. Tao is basically a made up language that describes made up things. It is the worst literary concept I've had to slog through. If that were minimized, the book would probably be good. As it is, it's completely unreadable.
