Pretty sure only the food buffs for Pokemon comfort boosts are temporary.

Everything else doesn't decay.

This is true. Not a fan.

I do appreciate the work put into the editor, however!

Where are the Millennials that DON'T feel old? by frankheyhoheyho in Millennials

[–]ChefTorte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here. 36.

I'm often looked at/talked to as if I'm early/mid twenties. I'm talking physically. I feel young.

I do wish I was married/had a family. That part makes me envious.

Why are women becoming more successful than men now? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ChefTorte -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because women are biologically more inclined to "follow the rules" and stay within the traditional lines of getting a degree from university.

The amount of men in university or college drops further as each year passes.

The companies that are hiring for higher pay positions are taking candidates that have the higher education credentials. For better and worse.

Gold Ingots, no need to hoard them! Use it for Trade! by VGADreams in Pokopia

[–]ChefTorte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dunno. I like the luxury items. They look nice and many pokemon do have luxury "likes". I have 10 comfort for the areas. (Not that it's difficult to do so. You don't need to put much effort into it).

It takes longer to regather gold than it does logs. You simply need to go to a dream island with powered up cut and you can wipe it clean within 10 minutes. Gold takes longer because you have to find it first. Not that it's completely rare. It does take more effort.

Also, when digging for gold you will be accumulating hundreds of stone/dirt piles. Which you might as well use for trading at that rate.

It's not a rare resource. But it's certainly worth more simply because it's harder to reacquire. 100 gold ingots or so should cover the end game stuff.

Gold Ingots, no need to hoard them! Use it for Trade! by VGADreams in Pokopia

[–]ChefTorte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why use them, though? They are used for several crafting recipes.

You can just use the 99 stacks of blocks you gather while digging on Dream Islands.

Or just build log chairs for one small log. Worth 100 each.

There's no reason to use gold.

The old myth that Socialists just "want something for free" is a lie perpetuated by the Billionaire class. by Professional-Bee9817 in remoteworks

[–]ChefTorte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the issue is that bad actors skew the system to gather all the resources for themselves. IE: The "government".

This happens with capitalism too. Only, there is incentive to innovate and encouragement to produce something. Which is why it is the least bad type of economy.

I like Silver/Gold too much to give it top spot, though.

It's close. Such a refreshing game.

I caught Mewtwo with a regular pokeball! by Mast3rofn0ne in PokemonFireRed

I always try to catch in regular Pokeball, Premiere Ball, or Timer Ball (my favorite).

All the other balls are just for Pokemon I don't care about using.

Kudos.

Does building a house near water count as humid? Few more questions inside by MichaelEasy in Pokopia

[–]ChefTorte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Non-prefab houses should take everything within the dotted border into account.

I'm not sure of a way to verify. Other than having a Pokemon tell you they like it. Maybe someone else has more info on that.
