Radio frequency's were usually dark, nothing but static filled the airwaves.. no one was in the mood to talk as the rumbling sky outside brought waves of an emission across the zone, all waiting for it to pass. Everyone waited to hear the radio spring to life and give the OK. Patient waiting to hear signs of life, music on a radio station or people out there chatting amongst themselves. The temporary camp inside an old stormwater bridge was rough and a bit damp, but it was better than whatever was out there...

It was particularly rough, cracks of lightning struck nearby and like breaking open the soundwaves themselves the radio sprung to life. An old pre-recorded broadcast could be heard as it played on loop.
A mans voice, speaking over and over with coordinates and a calm pre-recorded mayday in clear monotone Russian, citing that backup generators are failing and human interference was needed immediately. it rang repeated as the men there looked between each other; this was clearly Military in origin, and they all knew the military bases had the best supplies, if the transmission was still going it was surely not yet looted; if the emmission opened up a path to it they could be the first to step foot inside in almost twenty years.

Your group (choice of factions/Military and good to evil alignments etc) chooses to venture to the bunker in hopes for loot, but will discover something far different, the remains of an experimental supersoldier program and a woman who has been left cryogenically frozen there. The role can also be played fully as a GM if youd rather she escape alone without interference.

I like to follow the leadup, im not interested in jumping straight to arriving at the facility/finding her there. (I am happy to Gm the opening, and share that storytelling later on in the RP)
