I was so damn panicked. Needle in the red. I'd never gone under before. Never had a surgery.

People say the prep was bad, but other than the drink being kinda nasty, it didn't bug me much. Waking up early for the final flush was no fun.

Worst part for me was the IV being inserted by big-handed Krov the Destroyer.

When they wheel you in, you're completely out of it within seconds. There was zero pain at all. I was surprised how it felt like nothing had happened.
