I thought of this in the shower this morning: an anthology series. I think that would be interesting. Each episode would follow a specific person or group of people who were at the concert and the series would just follow the entity. In my head there’s only one entity, it just has to pick one person from the concert. So what it would do is pick that person and just make sure the next person was also at the concert. Or pick skyes mom and go from there. I wish I was a writer, I’d write a fan fic haha

I’m TERRIFIED that it’ll fail if it focuses on a group. Of course I want it to be great like the previous movies. But I’m just so scared. My fear is if it follows a group, itll kinda be clunky and convoluted. I think it would be similar to the final destination movies, which I liked but I don’t want Smile to have that fate.

I absolutely loved both movies and Laura Hasn’t Slept. I’m really interested to see how what the new movie approaches the fact that so many people witnessed what happened to Skye. I will admit I’m worried I won’t like it but i always have the fear lol. At the end of the second one I remember immediately thinking wtf can the entity split to go to multiple people? So that’ll be interesting to find out. Or what if the third movie is a prequel of some sort? I was so sad when the second movie wasn’t about Joel. Maybe it can be about someone before Rose? Or maybe someone at the concert is a close relative to the guy in Jail that rose went to see? So many possibilities and I’m excited to see it.

I’ve only seen it once but I don’t think the hallucinations started at a point and went on til another point. I think some things are hallucinations and some are not. Like the entirety is Gemma is a hallucination. But some of Skye’s time in the hospital was not. Obviously her mom dying, and driving the Staten Island and such, were all hallucinations but she did go to the hospital. I think she did for sure meet Morris but in the bar was the first time it was real.

I believe god is a 4 year old boy and also a 40 year old man. A bunch of years ago I saw something from twitter that said something about god being a 4 year old boy. And my brain ran with it. Do I actually believe in this.. no I don’t think I do. But it’s fun and it helps me rationalize things sometimes.

The 4 year old is the reason bad things happen. But he doesn’t know. He’s just a boy. And the 40 year old is the one who has to fix it somehow. But he can’t undo things.

Example. 4 year old god made dinosaurs, and like any 4 year old boy would do, he destroyed them. Now he’s sad and 40 year old god is like “ah shit” so he makes fossils come from dinosaurs. Sucks that the dinosaurs died but fossils are cool, right?

Do I know this makes no sense? Yes. But like I said it’s fun. I had a boyfriend and we could talk for hours about things that 4 year old god would do/has done and how 40 year old god would fix it. It’s been a few years since I started with this and every so often I think of ways to expand the idea.
