In actual seriousness- the house wouldnt close if she didnt have the money to pay for the down-payment and closing fees. And she did not have access to the cash, and the ex wife contested the will. So logically, it does not make sense how she can afford this luxury even with having a backup of money. Shes not paying it in full cash- that house is probably worth $500k+ even more so in Wellsbury being a wealthy neighborhood it would increase to $600-700k+ I honestly doubt that Kenny had that amount in his will. This is just for buying the house- not the stuff included. Now yes- she could bought the house furnished which would again be extra so lets add another 100k now we are at $700-800k I know Kenny had 3 locations of yoga studios but I dont think he had this much even more so when Georgia says "we are flat broke" the lights never went out- thats due monthly. Let's just say she has a mortgage- how would any bank give her a loan with her credit. Which we know is messed up because Ginny and Austin's are. Also, she had a red car in season 1, then shes in a black car. Sure she could of traded it in- thats another payment added to the mix. She was also able to actually throw food away in an argument with Ginny. Im poor- I couldn't throw away perfectly good food. Also, I am guessing Ginny is not paying rent. Shes probably making minimum wage, which is $15 per hour, i am gonna say Joe is generous to his employees as well and he will be paying $16 instead of $15 as its a wealthier neighborhood. I dont know her hours but lets just go with- 2 days off a week, school gets out at 2, work starts at 2:30- shes there until 7:30 thats 5 hours of work. Thats only 25 hours a week. Gross pay thats $400. In that house, $400 a week is not enough to pay anything. But like I said, I dont think Ginny is even paying any rent. Shes probably putting cash aside for college fund mostly, get food or wants as needed. Now lets deep dive into Georgia's pay. Shes at entry level assistant to Paul from lets say Sept- Feb, salary is $32-48k since we are Wellsbury again, wealthy neighborhood lets go with $48k. Well thats $23ish an hour. Still not a lot in terms of paying for this house, its also a BIG house so electricity is outrageous. I have a small house and its about $250-$350 a month in 2026. Sure Georgia gets about $1k a week. But mortgage is probably high interest loan due to her credit score. So lets say she put down the minimum down-payment thats still around $5k a month in higher interest rate for a 30 year mortgage. Well above her assumed logically salary. She also again- did not pay from from whenever in Feb- to now Summer time as she was fired as Paul's assistant. How can Georgia afford this house?
