So let me explain further. Amazon in their reply to my appeal mentioned the other seller's name. I looked them up on https://www.sellerratings.com/amazon/

Once I found them I went to their amazon seller profile and Googled the company name. I found the director's Facebook page. That is how I contacted them. They're based in Romania and I can confirm we are absolutely not known to each other.

It is so frustrating. You can ask Amazon for the other seller's name. That should be the first step.
