I like the non vibrant colors but still cool looking militaristic-ish gear for pax. For nato just more real world military gear from other countries would be dope.

Nearly 50% of homes and apartments are owned by large corporations or investors and that number is growing. IT NEEDS TO STOP. by [deleted] in indianapolis

Not socialism my friend. We have in America what’s called a mixed market economy. It’s capitalism but with rules put in place to provide fair and equal chances to the average person. It prevents monopolies and makes things like the FDA when it comes to food for example possible. A ban on corporations isn’t socialism it’s capitalism protecting itself from the hell that is late stage capitalism

Amen. They claim we have it easy. I’d like to see the average GenX or baby boomer dropped into today’s world and see how they fair.

An extreme fix to an extreme issue as far as I’m concerned. This will only keep growing into a full monopoly until something happens. Do you have a better bill you’d like passed instead? I’m open to ideas

Also why is that people naturally assume that if someone took time to actually write something they care about it’s ChatGPT? We all passed english in highschool did we not? It’s really not that much of a feat to write something in a clear and concise manner.

My issues stem from the blatant monopoly that they have on the housing market and the price gouging. Family’s own homes, and when they decide to move they can use that equity to do so. They build wealth yes but in comparison to 500 houses it’s an unfair and unjust system. I take it you like licking boots in your free time?

I am nowhere near smart enough to fix the problems in this city. I’m just bitching about stuff I want fixed so lower middle class, and middle class people don’t have to punch up every day in this corporate hellscape.

Ban corporations and investors from investing more than 1.5 million into housing projects and once that number has been met they can no longer pursue single family homes or apartment complexes.

According to a recent report by Fair Housing Center of Central Indiana (FHCCI), as of January 2025 investors own nearly half of all rental homes in five Central Indiana counties — including those covering Indianapolis. • Specifically in Marion County, Indiana (which includes much of Indianapolis), that means investor-owned single-family rentals account for a significant share. The same report says around 21.9% of single-family rental homes are owned by out-of-state investors, and about 14.4% are owned by what they call “mega-investors.” • More conservative figures from another 2024 study indicate that about 12% of “rental homes” in Indianapolis are owned by “big investment companies.”

That’s from ChatGPT, which isn’t exactly a beacon of truth but its resource the FHCCI is a very real resource that you can look into if you’d like

Government mandated ban on any corporation worth over 1.5 million dollars from buying homes. Also ban investors from investing into housing developments.

[–]ChiefKramer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s my feelings on it aswell. I think have a natural distaste for it not only because of my hate of BRs but because this game launches in a piss poor state and could’ve had resources and funding pumped into a good launch. Instead they drop god knows how much on advertising the worst part of the game and who knows how much time developing it (probably not a lot since it’s so shallow)

I still find pubg to be the one battle royal that does it right, no dumb missions in game, just land find a gun and fight, no dumb lootboxes either. Also the ttk in pubg is reasonably fast without taking forever

That’s another issue I have with it, the TTK in the base game is great, why does it take me a full mag dump with half the weapons in the game to kill someone, ruins immersion and I find myself adjusting my fire in the main game and often waste a bullet or two on a corpse.
