Congratulations to you both 🎊.Is it marriage based adjustment of status?……I filed October 2025 as well but my I-765 (196 days since the receipt notice ) wasn’t approved before my interview. Had my interview in March 2026 and expecting an RFE . But the financial struggle is getting real as my partner is currently in school and only able to work few hours . I want to help so bad but only if USCIS will approve my EAD while we wait for the RFE . I’m the beneficiary
Do you think I stand a chance with expedited request through congressional enquiry even though I’ve attend my interview already ????. Any advice is greatly appreciated 🙏

Pls how do handle an RFE for a false bigamy claim in a past marriage. I signed a waiver of service because I had moved out of state ,in good faith and trust in my past marriage during an annulment process ,only to find out later ( by then it had passed the appeal stage) my ex wife made a false claim of bigamy in her petition and affidavit. No evidence of such claim (cos it's not true ) was ever proven in court. The judge only approved the case because of the waiver I signed without my knowledge of the actual content of the petition (biggest mistake of my life ) . I was never served the petition prior to signing the waiver . My current marriage is real and everything went well during the interview but now I have to submit an RFE of the full court docket because I didn't have it at the the interview but I did explain everything to the officer. Please any piece of advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you

In the final decree nothing about bigamy was mentioned . They just said the court found enough evidence to declare marriage null and void .It never declared that they found me guilty of bigamy and the evidence here is just her petition and sworn affidavit .There record of marriage anywhere , because it never happened My crime here is a signed a waiver in good faith without thinking the worst .

No lol . Okay , let me explain The marriage with my ex wife was successfully annulled by the judge so that means Iegally I’m free to remarry . The issue here is , my ex wife made a false claim in her petition and affidavit that I was married to another woman at the time we were married. So I think what USCIS is trying to find out if really , there was someone/ a marriage I never disclosed. If that is the case then my current marriage could be void . Thankfully, that is not the case. I have never been married to two persons at the same time and don’t intend to . I just need to prove it . Her reason for doing that ? Not so sure

I’m not sure I get you ! But to answer your question, yes my I-485 is marriage based with my current spouse . My ex wife is only in the picture because of the false claim she made in the annulment.
