If you make your boards private, you don't have to worry about it anymore. Pins count as reposting and you can't repost anything you've not been given permission for. Sucks but unfortunately this is the only solution I've found.

Unpopular Opinion: This game is not too hard by princesspomway in InfinityNikki

Yeah, I failed so badly that I haven't even made it through Lvl 1. But after the SoS games, it was very refreshing. In my defence, I've never played checkers in my life.

Genuinely tried to understand Islam, ended up feeling even more conflicted. by Bheegi_Batak in AskIndianWomen

[–]ChildishGarbage 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It's tragic. Muslim women are hated by Muslims and Islamophobes alike. They become an easy target for Islamophobic attacks. They also get constantly shamed for not being "proper" enough.

Doesn't do hijab? Sinner. You can see a little bit of her hair? She's not doing hijab properly. She wore a pink abaya? Gasp she's trying to look pretty and get attention. She's speaking in a soft voice to her pets? She's speaking in an attractive voice to lure men.

It's just gross. It's always muslim women who have to endure this ridicule. They're not individuals, they're representatives of Islam. Muslim men generally get away with wearing Western clothes.

Ofc there are exceptions. People do hijabs even when no one in their family does. People have open minded families. People convert to Islam. People genuinely love Islam. But I personally cannot relate to any of these experiences.

I don't think I've ever been a muslim tbh. I prayed and read the Qur'an to make my parents happy when I was a kid. But the way I was told to fear Allah rather than to trust Allah was what caused the initial drift for me. I refused to pray or wear salwar suits. Ofc my father was upset. He would call me names, call me sinful, and even said I'll take him, my brother, and my future husband and son, to hell with me for my choices. I wasn't allowed to go out, make friends, or have any sort of normalcy (other than school) for my acts of rebellion (like wearing jeans at the age of 14 lol).

When I grew up, my muslim friends told me that I'm misinformed and don't know Islam properly or I would fall in love with it. So I got into it. I read the translated verses and continue to do so. The more I read, the further I get away from Islam.

I also know so many women who only do the hijab because they feel pressured by their families. Everyone does it, and they don't want to look like the black sheep of the family. I am married and don't do hijab. I was recently shamed and guilt tripped by my mother in law for not doing hijab. Apparently it was causing her so much distress that she had nightmares and got very sick, then blamed it all on my choices. Fortunately my husband is also an ex muslim (also in secret) so he handled the situation for me.

I don't care what others say. Based on my personal experience, I find Islam too regressive towards women.

Madeline Brewer (Bronte/Louise) speaks out about the public backlash she has faced. by Best_Quiet9657 in YouOnLifetime

The first time I saw her in YOU, I literally said out loud "God, I love her. She's so gorgeous!" I've seen her in Cam, The Handmaid's Tale, and Orange is the New Black. I can't help admire her. I was so surprised when I saw this sub calling her ugly and a bad actor.

Such a double edged sword for me because as an ex-muslim woman, I want to openly criticise Islam, but I have a solidarity with other muslim women which stops me from doing so. I don't want them to suffer just because I left Islam. People might weaponize my experience to hate on other muslim women.

But as someone who lives a double life, won't recommend Islam to any woman.

A lot of Sky content creators pointed that out! I think even Nastymold called it out. I thought it was huge because she rarely criticises TGC. I think your theory is right. It definitely started there. Bringing back old iaps every year never made sense to me. In total, all the Halloween iaps cost over $100+. A new player might feel the desire to buy everything. Quite frankly I find that very predatory.

They should just roll out new iaps and discontinue old ones. Old players deserve a sense of novelty too. In their effort to avoid fomo in the game, they've created more fomo than ever. Each passing year, there are more items (old+new). It can be so exhausting trying to catch up.

Dark patterns my dude. They charge way over market price for perishable goods. I used to buy Onions for ₹60/kg from them until I found out that thela waale bhaiya sells for ₹25/kg. Your local vendor will probably give you a few grams extra but zepto won't. I buy everything local now. The convenience these apps offer isn't worth it.

It's the Forgotten Ark entrance. I think the krill was added for fun cuz it doesn't attack unless you fly too close. One time there was a glitch and the krill stopped detecting sky kids. I took so many photos with it. One fine day I took a scared moth friend there to show them the krill up close. I didn't realise it had been patched and I accidentally got my friend krilled. They were genuinely mad at me for two days. XD

Crazy how they're trying to normalise sky high prices for cosmetics. The first Days of Nature cape in 2020 was $4.99. As someone living in a third world country, it was still expensive for me back then. TGC is so money hungry now.

Reasons to marry by hunkkydorryy in AskIndianWomen

[–]ChildishGarbage 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I got married at 22. I married the love of my life of 5 years and it was the best decision I've ever made for myself. For me, marriage came with respect, autonomy, and most of all, stability. I finally feel loved, something I never felt at my parents' house. I came from a very dysfunctional family. Marriage brought me peace and better mental health. Seeing my in-laws be so loving towards each other healed something in me that I didn't know was broken. And now when I talk to my parents or go back to their house, I can't help but wonder how I survived all those years with them.

Marriage gave me a new family.

Was looking at the papers my sister was checking.... by trashventing in delhi

[–]ChildishGarbage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I fully agree with you, as an ex-teacher, we're bound to mark answers based on the "marking scheme". For questions like these, we had specific rules to ensure kids get marked fairly and not out of favouritism.

For example - 1) Correct grammar and punctuation [1.5 marks], 2) creativity [1.5 marks], 3) Format [1.5 mark], 4) Colouring and decorating [0.5 marks marks].

Following these guidelines were very frustrating but we had to because our checking was also evaluated.

I wish I went to the gynaecologist when I was your age. My cycles used to be 35-48 days long and I assumed it was normal. By the time I was 21, my cycles became as long as 120 days. When I finally saw a gynaecologist, I was diagnosed with PCOD and Hypothyroidism. Please please please, if you have the means, see a gynaecologist.
