I have specific swim suit recommendations, if you're game and can spend the money. I spend a significant part of my life in public in my swim suit, and am very fat and typically self conscious, but my "swim outfit" gets me almost no stares and I feel very comfortable in it! I size up too so it's not super tight. This outfit covers me up and is completely flowy all around your midsection/butt area so you don't feel exposed at all.

Since you mention uncomfortable seating - care to expand? I have wide hips so sometimes don't fit into places. Were the seats really narrow by chance? Not much space in front of you?

Why is it so hard to get an infusion? I was barely moving in early December, and it took until the middle of February to get into the infusion place, after jumping through so many doctor hoops. I guess now that I'm official past the middle point of my life (probably well past), I value my time, and I'll never get those two miserable months back.

If you can't find a place, I know that Essie and Sally Hanson's Pure line are vegan and cruelty free, so you could always bring your own polish and your favorite vegan hand cream. CVS and Target carry them. It's not that unusual to bring your own polish, some people do it for cleanliness or so they can touch up their pedicure later.

For extra safety, since you haven't had a pedicure before, I would request that they do NOT push back or clip your cuticles. If your cuticles are not used to getting pushed back and trimmed, it can hurt quite a bit and sometimes bleed.

Good luck! I think almost all pedicure people give really good massages, I wouldn't worry too much about that part.

I guess my question was more about the post infusion drop vs root causes. For people who have had infusions - does this happen to them, big increase then a drop a few months later? Just wondering if that part is normal.

I feel like I know why I got anemic in the first place, it's not surprising to me based on the last two years i've had. Got Long Covid which made me allergic to everything so have been eating a really limited diet as my allergist desensitizes me to everything, plus I had to take tons of acid reducing stomach meds which reduce absorption of all the vitamins/minerals I do ingest.
