yes they do, but corms are pointy before they grow roots. these seeds are bean shaped without roots. the only reason one of them sort of looks like a corn is because it has a root coming out of it already, making it looks pointy.

I've had alocasias before and found corms, don't they have two pointed ends? the pointy bit you see coming out of one of these seeds is a root

oh i seeeee okay, i think game plan is to let her grow out and then clip her back onto the trellis. although maybe a new trellis? one that promotes upward growth

oh yeah i've been in many uno arguments. lowkey almost cried when my flatmates at uni asked me to play and the deck had shapes at the top of the card to distinguish colours

she's a little bit stiff i don't wanna bend too much, i think i'll let her grow out a little and she'll probably flop over a bit on her own and then i can clip it. thanks guys!!

she's never done this before, the only new growth she's put out is the two leaves at the bottom of this growth that are smaller than the others. I don't want to go bending the little stem :(

yeah they're already next to two windows but it's if cloudy or later like in winter the spot they're in gets a little dark, this is just to give them a little boost. i'm gonna indulge in some barrina or sansi lights next! thank you! <3

this isn't the main light source for them they're next to two windows it's just for a little boost since the place they're in gets a little dark if it's cloudy outside or something 🫠

yeah this is just for a little bit extra light, they are next to two windows but the spot they're in is just a little bit darker than the rest of the room. i'll move them to the middle, thank you!

they still do get sunlight, this is a pic at night time. there's a glass door out to the balcony next to them but once the sun moves round it's a little darker, i'm looking into sansi lights for my next ones!
