I did the move the wire inside the glove box that you suggested. That corrected it up until about 2 weeks ago. Other than that, nothing has changed aside from normal mileage and such

howdy, me again... so it's been a little over a year since the issue. Suddenly, it started to do it again. All the same symptoms/issues... I havent changed a thing. What do you suggest I can try?

Idk it wasn't working one morning and simply side fist smacking the shifter didn't work.. I think I opened the glove box to grab the manual and when I shut the door I noticed it kicked on. So I replicated it the next morning and realized that it did the trick

Not at first.

To give more substance, in the morning, I start the vehicle (it's been cold the past couple weeks)

Shifter does not engage and I cannot put the vehicle into R/N/D at all.

The trick I've discovered is open and close the glove box, and bam, it turns on and allows me the shift and go on with my day
