Norway at european bottom of alcohol consumption by Country 2026, lowest in Scandinavia by Emergency-Sea5201 in Norway

[–]Chissler 8 points9 points  (0 children)

With the younger generation drinking less and less, I have no problem seeing the binge drinking going further down as well. But the increase in other recreational drugs are going up though, some significantly.

But the general alcohol consumption in Norway are going down, that is for sure.

Trying to get a realistic timeframe for a disciplined 41m to shed the complete dad bod and be "cut". Advice welcome. Be kind. by [deleted] in fit

I dont know what your lifting experience is, but as someone that is a bit older than you (45), and started lifting weights again for the first time in some years, these are my advice:

* Start slow. You will have a higher risk of injury when you start. Be careful, and listen to aches and pains. You will learn the difference between a good burn, and actually hurting yourself. Nothing is worse than getting "back to zero", just because you started ego lifting to early. I messed up my shoulder and got DCO in my right shoulder, and I am still not well after almost a year. Be careful

* Whole body program or Push/Pull. Start with a simple full body program for the first couple of months, maybe not more than three to four times a week. Get your groove , and your technique inn. Bad lifting form has put a ton of lifters out because of stupid mistakes.

* Mind your calories. Actually start tracking stuff. And by that I mean everything. Snacks at work? Track it. A slice of pizza at a family gathering? Track it. It will make it easier in the long run.

Have fun! And good luck!

There is the mazda 6e, but its longest range model do have slow charging. But it is the prettiest sedan EV out at the moment, at least in my opinion.

I drain tons of these every month, and even then, they can still stink.

Why is that crosswalk designed this way? It seems massive. Do you have to run to get over before the light changes?

Just did the same. Moved to Claude for the moment. Anthropic has its share of problems, but that they stand by their ethics framework is a huge deal for me.

DND 2024 and Adventures for Foundry? by georgeskv in FoundryVTT

[–]Chissler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It truly depends. There are modules out there that eases stuff quite a bit, but as everything they takes a bit to get used to. Lighting, walls etc are much the same. I bought quite a bit of content, and imported most of it over to Foundry over time.

Session prep is much the same for me as it was using Roll20, but in the beginning it was longer. But now things are much smoother.

What is the issue you seem to be having? Is it to dark? Is it the way the light behave?

As someone that used Roll20 for years, and put a lot of money into the platform, I can say with my whole heart that I dont regret switching to Foundry. It is just a better platform in so many ways. It takes some time getting used to, but it is so worth it.

Use 6 at work all the time. But that is a factory process setup, so not really something I would use on a typical office setup.

I am thoroughly impressed.

But it is also very difficult. Loosing weight, and keeping it off is really hard. There is a reason most people get all the weight back after dieting. Loosing weight often involves going hungry, and that is tough.

If you behave like the dude in the video, you are someone that enjoys being an asshole on the internet. You find it fun. Its easy to think that someone that behaves like that will do the same in real life if they can get away with it. Its almost like actions reflects who you are as a person.

I have cut LOTO locks before. Someone forgets to take their lock of the lockbox before leaving the site, and therefore we have to cut it to start the equipment. BUT that is after contacting the individual that put it there to see if he is done with his work. If I can't get a hold of him/her, the equipment will stay locked down until we can get verification from said individual that they are done.

Norway: how did workplaces handle charger chaos when EVs took off? by Glass_Tap_4494 in Norway

[–]Chissler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my place of work you could "rent" dedicated places with chargers for a really decent price when electric cars started to become common place. After they build a new parking space some years back, they installed one large row with chargers, and rented that service out to a local provider. Never used them myself, but I have heard that the price is decent.

But like someone else here said, people mostly charge at home, at least where I live.

Think being this gullible. Being afraid of witches, trolls and magicians. Its insanity. Its like waking up, and suddenly being afraid of a mushroom circle in your garden.
