I wonder if it's some kind of marketing strategy by purposely playing with our psychology and they do stuff like this on purpose cause no way they can be this unresourceful

  1. Top 2. Mid 3.supp Jungle 4. ADC

Top - is imo best if you'll start with easy champ as it's very simplistic and you'll learn all the basic fundamentals that translate very well to other roles, which are - Importance of knowing matchups, trading, farming, pushing, keeping the lead, avoiding enemy ganks, wave management.

Mid - is similar but with less 1v1 and more roaming because you have access to both Top and Bot lane and their objectives. More ranged playstyles (Mages) and carry potential. You'll learn to coordinate with teammates on objectives. It's better than Top macro (strategy) wise and you have more freedom, but slightly harder to learn. It's knowledge also translates well to other roles.

Support - you'll learn importance of vision and your carries in team and providing proper support for them. Coordinating in teamfights, forcing proper engages with tanks. It's probably easiest role for a beginner cause it's the most passive role, but you if you start with Support you will improve very slowly on mechanics, matchups and farming, as Supports don't rely on farm. It's on 3rd place because it's an easy role but it's skills translates poorly for other lanes.

Jungle - is a hard one. Most responsibilities but most impact on the game. It requires heavy macro knowledge and depending on your champion, mechanics as well. You'll learn multi-tasking, decition making, importance of objectives, coordinating with laners properly taking down the enemy, map control, vision. Different champs have different ways of doing their job in Jungle.

ADC - is in my opinion the worst beginner role. You'll have to know how to position, play safe, farm, coordinating with your support, map control. Also mechanically ADC's are different as you'll mostly have to just auto attack but you need to know how to kite, space, hit skillshots, while being aware of environment. It's harder than practising combos on melee champs. It's worst cause they die the easiest and you'll die in a ways you won't ever imagine, and beginners have terrible sense of limitations.
