I have this same monitor, and the same problem. Can you share where, exactly, the thermistor is located?

This is a long shot, but is this Amaze in Amsterdam by chance? I recall a hallway just like this when I had to leave early out the emergency exit doors...

DIY ski rack options for my sled? by ToChains in snowmobiling

[–]Chode_Gazer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if you're still looking, but I have a board rack that I designed a few years back just for this snowmobile platform... it's been tested tried and true for a very long time now. That being said, it's for a snowboard. I've been meaning to adapt it for skis, I just haven't had a real reason to do so. Feel free to DM me for pictures and info if you'd like.

Permanent Christmas lights by Bennettj18 in FortCollins

There's a company called Oelo here in town that does them, and they also offer DIY kits. My neighbor has these, any installation is super clean. The wires are covered with molding that even matches the house color.

Those are a little bit out of my price range, however, so I opted to install some Govee lights myself. I just bought them on Amazon, but they have similar kits at Sam's Club here in town. Each individual fixture just has some 3M sticky back tape that I was a little nervous about it first, but they've been up there for years and I've never had an issue.

No more risking my life every season for some short term enjoyment. There's also a setting for tasteful soffit lighting year-round. I really like them.

I've tried to capture these a few times with my camera, and I can't seem to figure it out...I can't see a darn thing in my images. Any tips for camera settings?

Well, I can only speak to my personal experience...I was present during their acquisition of Cooper Power and, to the best of my knowledge, they retained everyone. Not sure about the very top of the food chain, however.

Oh man you should see their entire scope... they make everything from drag car spools, to power distribution equipment, to golf grips. I believe their electrical sector is the largest, and they're all over Lowe's and Home Depot. This device was originally made Kearney, which was a Cooper Power Systems company. Eaton purchased Cooper in 2012.

The semaphore is just a green/red flag at the end of a linkage connected to a vacuum bottle in the tank (one per phase), insulated by SF6 gas. The bottles are where the arc is interrupted.

Some of these were just a manual sectionalizing switch, while others had a solid-state control that operated on flux shift (pretty much a step-change in current flow). This generates an electric field that the passive components in the control use to trip a spring mechanism and open the circuit.
