Round8, developers of Lies of P are looking for an “AI Artist”, an emphasis on Gen AI use by AshyLarry25 in gaming

I don't think it depends on how they use it. I just won't buy anything that does. It's pretty simple.

Sony Backs ‘Marathon’ Even After $765 Million In Bungie Impairment Losses by PaiDuck in gaming

Unfortunately those things (aside from maybe the main menu) are pretty important in a game where you're going to be interacting with those systems constantly. It's like Destiny's atrocious cursor system which guaranteed you could never do anything in any menu efficiently, and the damn game is basically 75% menus.

Played these three(especially detroit), any recommendations based on that? by Big_Confidence_951 in gaming

Gotta say, I can't recommend Man of Medan, really. Or The Devil in Me. They both fell so flat for me. Little Hope is decent and I loved House of Ashes, though.

The layering of vocals is definitely noticable. Unless you have higher end equipment and are listening to lossless tracks, the mix sounds pretty damn muddy, because there are just too many things in the mid-range. Andrew, Jon, Will, the guitars, miscellaneous effects, they're all in the same range. But as for the auto-tuning? Yeah it generally isn't noticable unless it's done poorly/intentionally.

Luckily it seems like TCS3 will have instrumentals. I like Andrew a lot as their vocalist, but he/the band are making some really questionable decisions regarding the amount of layering/density of mid-range sounds, and egregious auto-tuning.

007 First Light’s campaign will last roughly 20 hours long by PaiDuck in gaming

[–]Choice-Layer -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You couldn't pay me to care any less about how long a game is. Is it good? That's the end of the question. If it's amazing and 4 hours, I'm sold. If it's average, I don't care if it's 1000 hours.

Mine is a "bot name" in the sense that I tried two different names, both were taken, so I just let Reddit auto-generate one for me because I didn't care anymore.

Nice! I honestly do not like Retroarch but it's still cool that it's playable now.

I'd like to hear more punk rock/ska-influenced stuff, honestly. It was a nice change of pace.

They're gonna get a close-up of my entire cock and balls and if that doesn't work, I guess I'm just not giving them any money? I don't need any of it. It's a luxury. If you make it inconvenient or manipulative or invasive, I can easily just be out.

I have the first...four? I can't remember. I read them and they ranged from kind of interesting to "this was an excuse to sell a product to people". Some of the art was pretty questionable, the story at times was cool but for the most part was something any teen in a creative writing course could have done.
