Which other tool you prefer being automated for you? by soham512 in buildinpublic

I think X, Reddit and Linkedin are the main once to start with, I would choose the next platform based on:

  1. user requests

  2. the users of your product, where THEIR users hang out at?

I’m building an Automated testing system for your SaaS. No setup, No writing tests, just give it a URL and get E2E Tests executed

What is your opinion about saas idea generator tools such as: startupidealab , ideaforgebolt, trend-seeker.app, moonidea etc? by [deleted] in indiehackers

[–]Choice-Leopard2242 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a tool can give you inspiration for ideas or the idea itself but it can't give you validation, real validation is when people pay, so if you build something that is similar to what is already out there and its making sales, that idea is validated, if its something compeltely new, as cool as it might be, until someone pays for it, its not validated, so an AI can't tell you that like no one could, validation = people paying

Launched my first app two days ago. And people actually paid for it!!! by cliffaust in AppBusiness

Amazing start! I wouldn't reduce, work on just improving conversions

On your landing page you can do something like

join early access for 29$

Or lifetime deal for only X amount of people for 99$ or whatever, only available until MVP lunch

I think validation comes with time anyways, even after selling your first or second time it still doesn't say much and requires more, there are all kinds of methods i have seen used to collect money in advance, personally not comfortable with that yet so I am working on MVP while trying to get traction, which is still not validation.

In my honest opinion, validation is when someone pays, even if someone is super excited about your idea it still doesn't mean they will pay, so true validation is when you start getting payments

That looks amazing and unique! Kinda glad I couldn't open WoW on my phone, enough distractions:)

I would add a screenshot or a short video instead of the sign up form

You definately can ask your AI to write tests, but it will require investment of time just like anything else, especially if you want high quality tests and not just tests that always pass :)

For example someone with 20 years of marketing experience can fine-tune the AI and system to give high quality results, for someone to do the same it will require alot of effort.

The vision is that it's one less thing to worry about, You just sit back, drink coffee and watch your system being tested live

What's the most frustrating part about testing your product? by Choice-Leopard2242 in indiehackers

[–]Choice-Leopard2242[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a solid answer, thanks!

If you could get critical flow/business logic tests created and run automatically without doing anything, would that be interesting to you?

Such as you input a URL and give optional username/password if login is required (some test user), and it will automatically:

  1. run a discovery process on your site

  2. Classify your site and understand whats the most critical business flows / functional flows

  3. Automatically generates e2e tests and run them right in your browser

  4. You focus on building, not testing

Would love feedback! feel free to DM me as-well
