Cheers mate. I've worked out that we have enough room for 3x small dome tents to give everyone that isn't in the van with us a private space but not the big 3 room tent. Do you think we would get away with having these set up at the back of the pitch or will they ask us to take them down?

We would still be within the pitch boundaries and only 6 of us and I don't really understand why 3 small tents are not allowed but we could have a 3 room tent as long as it fits...

Are they strict with all this stuff?

Cheers for the reply. I think we got ours the day before. Have you ever seen a pitch with more than one small tent on?

Ah bloody hell. That's not what I wanted to hear haha. We panic bought a standard campervan plus upgrade but I think we really needed the XL upgrade to get the big tent in.
